STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BORDER UNION 24 Judge: Mr D Cartwright (Borgstaff) Thank you to the members of the club for allowing me to judge this show and award my first set of Challenge Certificates. A huge thank you to my two ring stewards, Paul and Claire who did an outstanding professional job and made everything run smoothly. The weather was not fine on this occasion, but we all managed to stay outside where the rings were much bigger enabling more space to assess the movement of the dogs. I found no breathing issues to report, very few exhibits were lacking bone or substance, over all I preferred the quality of the bitches than dogs. A few missed out on higher placings due to fitness. I was not looking for stripped exhibits but I do like to see a good taper at the rear with tuck up. Mouths were good overall, a few with dirty teeth which can be easily rectified. Thank you to everyone who entered under me, it was an honour to assess your dogs and thank you for taking my decisions so sportingly.
