MPD (1)

1 Defty's Illori Balinese Boy. Compact 7 mth old showing promise. Pleasing head shape with round eye, correct stop and ear placement. Short neck, tidy withers and level topline. Moved well once he settled and will improve with further ringcraft.

2 Campbell & Irvine's Diamondstaff Jack N Black. Very similar attributes to the winner and moved and handled well. A sound dog throughout and pleasing in all departments - I just preferred the overall balance of first.

3 Allsopp's Rubericla Trailbreaker.

YD (4, 1)

1 Turner's Quatros Ironclad Buddy. Standard red br with white chest. No exaggerations on this dog - overall good balance. Strong neck, correct shoulders and sufficient rib. Level topline (kept on the move) short coat, good quarters and moved well.

3 Roberts' Briginah Indeed I Do.

LD (13, 2)

A strong class with many worthy dogs being unplaced.

1 Whitley's Ginstean Black Bomber. Bl/br with white. Mid standard compact dog and pleasing when viewed from all angles. Good head shape, deep chest, straight front, well ribbed, level topline, neatest of feet. Correct tailset. Moved very well and handled well throughout.

2 Martinez's Bullbrothers Dr Who. Similar dog to first with classic head shape and true expression - fits the standard well. Sound in all departments. Very good pigmentation and coat in first class condition. Very responsive to handler and moved with purpose.

3 Riley's Molru Nothing Else Matters.

OD (10)

1 McLelland's Ch Rochlawrie Behold The Hour JW. Br & white. First class dog - meets the standard so well. Lovely head shape and expression. Sound deep chested front, short neck, strong limbs, plenty of rib, perfect topline - strong quarters and presented in excellent condition. Never stopped showing himself and to advantage. Faultless mover. CC.

2 Stanway's Waystaff What A Cracker. A red br and white. Many virtues from his well shaped head and front view through to his well set pump handle tail. Deep rib, correct shoulder placement, level topline. Close shining coat and firm body condition. Sound mover. Very well handled.

3 Butler's Ch Ramblestaff Cos I Could.

MPB (4, 1

) 1 Waltham's Dringshaw Boule De Neige. 7 mth white bitch with the darkest of eyes. Very pleasing in outline - her body is developing well for age, the head needs to catch up but is of good shape with well defined stop and clean bite. Moved very well. An attractive bitch.

2 Calonge's Diamonds Of Blanch Lady Thunder (ATC AU01066ESP). D/br with white. Compact standard bitch with nice head and pleasing expression. Sound limbs and everything in its place. Should develop well. Moved soundly.

3 Rowe & South's Illori Believe In Me.

PB (2)

1 Jackson's Jackabyte Miss Moneypenny. Quality d/br with lovely head shape, round eye, rose ears and true expression. Short neck and well angulated shoulders, level topline and good bend of stifle. A very feminine bitch but displaying strength throughout. Moved well.

2 Mayren's Joemikeste Queen Of The Nile At Fergiestaffs. R and w, smart, alert little bitch who showed very well. Good head, compact body with strong rear quarters and sufficient bend of stifle. Another good mover.

JB (9)

A strong class with a quality array of sound bitches.

1 Southall's Beckash Black Ice. D/br and white. Caught my eye immediately. Good head with dark eye, clean bite and rose ears. Deep chest, strong limbs and good rib. Pleasing when viewed from all angles. Sturdy rear quarters and correct tailset. Short coat in excellent condition. Moved purposefully. RCC. Hope she continues to do well.

2 Williamson's Crudha Magic Katie (Imp Swe). Similar type to first but with white on her chest and slightly longer muzzle which did not detract at all from her classic head shape with good stop and round eye. Compact body and stood foursquare throughout. Sufficient bone and good rear end with nice bend of stifle contributing to sound driving movement.

3 Simpson's Briganah Body And Soul.

YB (6, 1)

Very little separated the first three in this class - all quality bitches who will change places on a different day.

1 Ford & Williams' Dajast Sweety With Jam'N Loz JW. Br with the kindest of expressions in her round eyes and good shaped head. Very pleasing front with strong limbs and chest developing well. Deep ribcage and balanced compact body shape with good bend of stifle and strong quarters.

2 Lockey's Tusselstaff One Caress. Bl/br and white with white socks. Attractively marked bitch with good pigmentation and short close shiny coat. A typical head - round eye, good stop and strong but feminine outline. As was her body; not overdone in any department but displaying the strength of the breed. Moved well.

3 Scotland's Callastaff Moon River JW.

PGB (6, 1)

1 Thompson & Watson's Staffash Starlight Dust At Pureleighs. R/w. Lovely head and expression. Correct length of muzzle, round eye, well set ears. Mid standard with short neck, sufficient rib, level topline and well bent stifle. Although she moved well, this would be improved greatly if she firmed up a little.

2 Ferguson's Gusonstaffs Black Widow. Br with white chest. Classic head shape and very dark eye (which, I note, is becoming quite rare in many brindles and black brindles). An exceptional coat - thin, close and gleaming with health. Overall balanced body shape with good bend of stifle aiding sound and free movement. Handled well.

3 Mann's Nerotoro Cosmic Girl JW.

LB (13, 5)

1 McLelland's Roclawrie Bonnie Lass. Her name suits her. She is bonnie in all departments. Fits the Standard so well. So well balanced. Lovely head shape and expression. Classic strong, yet feminine, body shape - I could not fault her. She was presented in first class condition, showed herself throughout (in the intense heat) and was handled to perfection. Her movement was a pleasure to watch. CC & BOB.

2 Hirst & Bibby's Taraiel Lorde JW. Of similar type to first, but slightly more exaggeration to her lovely head shape. Again well balanced and a good blend of strength and femininity. Close coat - in tip-top condition, deep chest and good rib. Strong quarters and driving movement. Very well handled.

3 Butler's Joemikeste Play The Game.

OB (4)

1 Duncan's Nettleworth No Nonsense JW. Quality bl/br. Compact bitch, balanced throughout. Classic head shape with strong muzzle and skull, round eye and neatest of ears. Short neck, good brisket and rib. Level topline, strong rear quarters and correct tailset. Purposeful mover and handled well.

2 Hirst & Bibby's Ch Taraiel Ciara JW ShCM. Such a lovely bl/br who is a fine example of the breed and is difficult to fault. Quality throughout, balanced, typy and displaying true temperament and desired movement. A credit to her owner. Handled to perfection.

3 Molineux's Manark Summer Solstice At Druidhawk.

VB (3)

1 Ch Taraiel Ciara JW ShCM.

2 Simpson's Ch Briganah Breaking Dawn JW. Bl/br in excellent condition and at nearly 9 years still displaying the qualities to take on the best. Lovely head shape, good front, strong limbs, deep chest and well sprung rib. Level topline - kept on the move and free true movement. A fine example of what a Stafford bitch should be.

3 Bell's Cannichbull Sweet Mystery ShCM.
