STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BITCHES NATIONAL TERRIER 24

A show I have attended both man & boy. It was a real pleasure to officiate at the country’s premier terrier show. My day was made much easier by top drawer stewards, Gary & Alison Hinsley. Thank you both. Also not forgetting who makes it all possible, the exhibitors, who gave a really good entry & accepted my decisions in a sporting manner. Many thanks to you all.

MPB (7)

1 Mason, Magllason Tipsy Tilly. B/b & white, who appears to be as happy as the day is long. A well shaped head with good expression, front is straight & clean, well bodied for age with a level top line. She is square & compact, rear quarters looked strong with a low tail set. Movement was in order for age. A nice confident puppy.

2 Hopkins, Trufflestaff Nyekundu. Red, a clean straight front on this bitch, head carries all the desired features, with a wide muzzle & very strong underjaw, nice length to rib & short coupled, a well bent stifle enhanced her rear, she also moved quite soundly.

3 Brown, Almostaff Kailanis Kiss At Northsirius. R Hunter, Grisslystaffs Stand By Me. VHC, Patis, Used To Remember Him Maddy Du Fleuran Champenois.

PB (6)

1 BPB, Liggins & Curd, Ellchansha Under your spell at Knockon. A very clean looking B/B bitch with a keen expression, head shape is clean set off by dark round eyes & neat ears, body proportions appear to be correct for age. She has sufficient depth to brisket & gives the impression of good lift at this stage, enough rib & light in loin, moved quite well for a pup.

2 Winrow & Greaves, Jayneze Ramona. B/B, very much the same applies to this bitch as 1st. She is also clean looking with a great expression, head carries all the desired furnishings, a good width to front, rib is about right for age, maybe a little longer coupled than 1st, rear is good, she also went well for a pup. Two good pups with bright futures.

3 Hammystaff Hot Love. R Seymour, Dekayro The Ice Queen. VHC Stillman, Sikaistaff Get Over it at Maidendale.

JB (20,3)

1 VD Meer Metzlar, Frisianstaffs Queen of California. B/B, a very nice upstanding bitch with strong head, powerful muzzle & jaws carrying a correct bite. (As did all my main winners) she has a lovely expression with dark eyes and neat ears, a straight front, good length of rib which also carry the required depth. Front & rear limbs are strong & well formed with good feet. Moved well fore & aft. A strong contender for the RCC.

2 Bennet, Scipelei Against All Odds. B/B of standard size. Turned out with a decent degree of fitness. A clean head with good length to muzzle, complimented with correct eye & ear placement, straight front, ribs possibly a little deeper than 1st at this stage, body development is good, strong rear quarters carried width to thighs. Not quite the movement of 1st today.

Brindle, she is a nice allround bitch, front is broad & deep, a good head & muzzle with neat furnishings, a good length to rib, well bodied, plenty of width to thighs on a powerful back end.
