STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BITCHES NATIONAL TERRIER 10

I would like to start off by saying it was an honour and a pleasure to judge this prestigious show. It was well organised and run smoothly through out the day by my very capable stewards. B.O.B. and B.P.I.B. along with the dog judges Glynis Yuill of the (Langrove) affix was Blacker’s Ch Crossguns Memphis Belle
and Trow’s Hubbulls The Promise.
Overall the quality of the exhibits was good, but I was alarmed to see the number of nervous and timid dogs entering the show ring today, this is not typical of our breed as temperament is one of the easiest things to bring into the breed and one of the hardest to change, we seriously need to look at this issue when thinking of mating our bitches. Only two undershot but several Inverted canines.
I judged some very good exhibits, that were carrying to much weight which upset thier overall balance. It was nice to relax and talk to a lot of individuals about the quality of their dogs in general.
At this point I would like to wish the Officers, Committee, Club, and fellow exhibitors all the best for the future.

M.P.B. (12,2a)

1st Kenp & Jamess BEKENBAR SHINING STAR, B/B. Nice pleasing expression for a youngster, strong foreface,
short coupled, coat in good condition, move well for the handler.

2nd Frankland’s ALDWYCH TIGER LILY, Typical head and expression from this kennel pleasing to look at clean and strong, still very much a baby but have no doubts she will look the part as she matures,
decision could easily be reversed at a later date.

3rd Nicholson’s BALLINDONA BOMBSHELL.

P.B (16,1a)

1st Trow’s HUBBULLS THE PROMISE, Red. A clean cut well balanced bitch with good pigmentation,
beautiful chiselled head, dark round eyes, good bite, great front and feet, lovely shaped body with good angulations, kept in immaculate condition, moved effortlessly covering the ground with ease, B/P/B & B.P.I.B.

ample bone and rib for her age, strong quarters and moved with plenty of drive and in good condition,
handler need to stop opening the front too wide.
