STAFFORDSHIRE BULL CRUFTS 24 Judge: Mr J Finney - Mr WJ Blacker I would like to thank the KC for inviting me to judge this prestigious show and for the hospitality shown to myself and my wife. It had been a long wait as I was due to judge this show in 2021 but the pandemic prevented this. I would like to thank all the exhibits for giving me the opportunity to assess their bitches and I was very fortunate to have some excellent bitches to assess. There is a cost of living crisis and troubles throughout the World so your entries were very much appreciated including those who had travelled from Ukraine. My final lineup was undoubtedly, in my opinion, superb, with my CC bitch being exceptional. I would like to give a mention to the two junior handlers who showed their bitches under me. Their bitches were presented in very good condition, their handling was superb and both handlers were dressed smartly, a lesson that could be learnt by some senior handlers. Well done. The referee was called upon for two decisions. 2711. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Veteran Bitch Entries: 14 Absentees: 4 1ST15854 - Ch Because I Love You Terrystaff (B C Drahosova Pauderova) An excellent example of a mature bitch in great condition. Her outline is clean and balanced, head neat and clean with the correct expression, bite correct, body and coat gleaming, handled and showed perfect. Best veteran. Well done. A classy veteran bitch with a strong clean head, good bone and feet, solid body, moving very well. Showed perfect. RES15805 - Happystaff Could It Be Magic (Mrs Nj Buchan) VHC15880 - Int Ch Auricstaff Manila (Ms A.v. Obukhova) 2712. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Minor Puppy Bitch Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1ST15931 - Hammystaff Hot Love (Mr J D & Mrs S M Hammond) A very attractive balanced young bitch. Cracking head shape, well defined with dark eye, correct bite, well boned straight front, level topline, well placed tail. Showed very well. Entries: 14 Absentees: 1 1ST15919 - Llanstaffs Eternity (Miss C A John) Beautiful young bitch with exceptional quality. Clean outline, feminine, correct head shape, perfect bite, topline level, deep rib, moved well and showed off her virtues. Best puppy bitch. Well done. Compact and balanced neat young bitch. Strong head, scissor bite, deep stop, dark eye, compact body, moved and handled well. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Junior Bitch Entries: 20 Absentees: 4 1ST15876 - Alshancorn Says Who (Mr A & Mrs M Gallagher) Quality bitch of excellent type fitting the standard well. Her head was defined and chiselled, correct bite with big well placed teeth, rose ears, deep chest, straight front, tight feet with dark nails, level topline, well angulated back end, moved and handled well. Strong solid bitch. Clean well shaped head, correct scissor bite, neat ears, balanced body, moved well. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Yearling Bitch Entries: 23 Absentees: 0 1ST15933 - Kamaristaffs Royal Gem at Jazostaff JW (Mr T & Mrs C Plumstead) An exceptional bitch who fits the standard and oozing quality, a real eye catcher. Her head was perfectly in proportion, deep stop and muzzle, dark round eye, neat rose ears, good reach of neck, gun barrel front with neat feet, deep rib, level topline, pump handle tail which she carried well on the move, back end was amazing being well muscled and hard. I could see the hard work that had gone into her fitness. A credit to her owner and breeder. My CC and BoB (referee decision). Well done. A young bitch of breed type, correct balance of skull to muzzle, scissor bite with well placed canines, deep chest, excellent topline, gleaming coat, she stood four square. Moved very well. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Undergraduate Bitch Entries: 23 Absentees: 3 1ST16122 - Maynestaff Morning Glow (Mr L & Mrs D Wareham) Strong well shaped head with good definition, neat ears, correct bite, straight front, well boned, short back, level topline, very well muscled, showed and handled very well. Well balanced head with definition, scissor bite, level topline, well placed tail, moved well both ways, handled well. Presented in good condition. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Graduate Bitch Entries: 9 Absentees: 0 1ST16045 - Kirstaff Dolly’s Daredevil at Metalbull (Mr M & Mrs A & Mr T & Mr L Rochelle) A sound balanced bitch, clean shapely head, scissor bite, level topline which held on the move, strong thighs with good bend of stifle, showed very well. Tidy well shaped head with good definition, dark eye, rose ears, straight front with good for chest, sound body with excellent coat, handled well RES15802 - Sikaistaff All of Me at Kamiflo (Mrs J & Mr T Bowman) VHC16123 - Forever Bull (fci) Hubert's Girl (Mr H Danielczyk) 2718. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Post Graduate Bitch Entries: 15 Absentees: 2 1ST15832 - Niatona Sissy That Walk (Mr T B & Mrs D Taylor) Strong clean head of excellent shape, correct big teeth, rose ears, good reach of neck with well placed shoulders, body four square, moved parallel, handled very well. Very good top size bitch, shapely head, correct bite, well boned front with good feet, sound body, very good coat, maturing well. RES15962 - Alport Dark Queen (Mrs V Sloka) VHC16055 - Fairlenium Iron Queen at Lornicstaff (Mrs La & Mr Na Sandford) 2719. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Mid Limit Bitch Entries: 20 Absentees: 3 1ST15943 - Ain't Misbehaving Aeldebharan Nljk (Mrs Jja Kock) Correct shaped head, clean muzzle, excellent stop, dark round eye, correct scissor bite, correct bone, neat tight feet, dark nails, good length of leg fitting balanced body, moving very well both ways. Cracking strong but feminine head, dark round eye, well placed teeth and canines, gun barrel front and rib, well muscled body, strong backend, moved with drive. RES16117 - Maxstaff Miss Vivienne at Teshleystaf (Miss S & Miss N Walker) VHC15970 - Northstaff Thunderstruck at Durhamstaff (Mr M & Mrs S Manghan) 2720. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Limit Bitch Entries: 15 Absentees: 3 1ST15963 - Cwmhâf Cariad (Mr R & Mrs P Lloyd-Williams) A standard size bitch of excellent balance, strong powerful head with correct bite, dark eye, well placed shoulders, straight front, tight neat feet, deep chest, well tucked up, well muscled thighs, compact body, showed excellently, moved well. Clean shapely bitch in very good order, head was defined with correct stop, strong under jaw, correct bite, clean straight front, level topline, well placed tail, moved, showed and handled well. RES15936 - Kamaristaffs Royal Velvet JW (Mrs K M Jones) VHC15782 - Sikaistaff Dark Phoenix (Mr S Bainborough) 2721. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Open Bitch Entries: 38 Absentees: 4 1ST16019 - Ch Elitebull Mojito at Nettleworth (Mr J A & Mrs S L Parker) Classy smart bitch of excellent proportions, beautiful expression, strong clean head, correct bite, well boned, level topline which held on the move, good bend of stifle, excellent condition, showed and handled perfectly. My RCC winner. A very close decision between this and 1st place. Exception quality and very similar in type to 1st and has all the same attributes. For me 1st had slightly more head but this bitch is top drawer and was presented in immaculate condition. Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bitch Entries: 9 Absentees: 0 1ST16052 - Illori Constellation JW (Miss G L & Mr D Rowe & South) A sound bitch of good breed type, clean well shaped head, balanced body, level topline, stood four square, moved and handled well. Strong headed bitch with great definition, dark eye, good mouth, straight front, short back, well placed tail, moved well and in very good condition. RES16076 - Sikaistaff Coz I’m Happy (Mrs A & Mr O Squibb) VHC16102 - On The Hill Two at Tidestaff (Miss B A Turner)
