STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BITCHES JUDGE CRUFTS 12

STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER - BITCHES

A big thanks you to all exhibitors for giving me the opportunity to go over their dogs, without them we wouldn't be having dog shows. I've not judged Staffords in England since 2007, and how much better the bitches have got! Most fitted the standard and most deserved cards, but unfortunately there were only five places in each class. I felt so proud judging at Crufts and had a fantastic entry. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and ended up with lovely class winners from veteran to open and I hope I can do it all again in the future.

VB(16, 2)

1 Ferguson's Ch Challimers Molly Malone At Fergustaff JW ShCM. Red and white, 11 years and 4 mths, bang on standard. I gave her her third CC in 2006 and she's still a beauty. Cracking head with body to match, short muzzle with pronounced cheek bumps, correct bite, dark round eye, small well placed rose ears, straight front, short coupled with level topline and ample rib, strong hindquarters and good bend of stifle, moved with ease. A very worthy champion.

2 Norton's Stormpike Cleopatra Of Tikkurilan. Black brindle, 9 years old, strong head shape, pronounced cheek bumps, dark eye, correct bite, straight front, level topline, strong hindquarters, showed and handled well.

3 Waters' Ashstock Easter Rose JW. Red with a touch of white, 8 years old, pleasing head shape, short muzzle, dark round eye, straight front, well boned legs, ample rib, strong hindquarters, moved and handled well. All five lovely oap's.
