STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 10 Judge(s) MR GERALD WESTWOOD DCC BOURTIE WOT A BOY ( MR & MRS G CALLAGHAN) Staffordshire Bull Terriers Unfortunately, with the quality in some classes, a number of exhibits had to go without a card. MPD (9) 1 McComiskie & Dick’s Bourtie Ay Ay Fit Like, 8 months, nicely balanced brindle puppy, good head & bite, good in body & excellent rib for age, short coupled, handled to show his best; 2 Wall & Webb’s Manark Predator, b/b/w, 8 months, good head with nice expression, good eye & neat ears, good bone, straight front & level topline, moved & handled well; 3 Hyde’s Sedgbred Black Diamond. PD(8,1a) 1 Goree’s Skastaffs Prince Buster, r/w of 11 months, mature puppy, straight front, lovely body shape, clean outline, good head, nice ear & eyes, in good condition, moved well. BP; 2 Williams’ Gazannlou The Pretender at Bellajazz, brindle, nice clean head, good expression, well boned legs, good topline, well ribbed up for age, in good order, presented well; 3 Birney’s Sebsonic Jealous Guy. JD (8) 1 Jones’ Kannechor The Defender of Virtutis, b/b/w, beautiful head & expression, keen eye, good ear carriage, strong in neck, correct front, short coupled body, good well balanced dog, moved & handled well; 2 Asker’s Dazmarnic Don’t Tell ‘Um, lots to like about this brindle dog, strong in head, good eye, correct bite, good bone & feet, nicely balanced, presented well; 3 Smart & Hill’s Gwynford Jimi Hendrix. YD(6,1) 1 Scarlett & Reid’s Ramblestaff Ebenezer, good compact dark brindle dog, good spring of rib, well muscled quarters, clean outline, well presented, in beautiful condition; 2 Kirkland’s Lordstaff Sir Germaine, excellent headed dog, straight front, good topline, nice bone & feet, good rib, moved well, close decision with 1; 3 Dolphin’s Alport Tornado. ND (5) 1 K The Defender of V; 2 Partlett’s Wardwelstaff Badgers Best, b/w, nice head, dark eye, neat ears, good bone, well developed ribcage, moved & handled well, good construction throughout; 3 Dearman’s Blazinstaff Sacrifice. GD (4) 1 W Badgers Best; 2 Smart & Hill’s Gwynfort Jimi Hendrix, well constructed b/b, keen & alert expression, good head, put down in tip-top condition; 3 Williams’ Hubbulls Nebraska. PGD (6) 1 Pearce & Ward’s Absolute Star, compact b/b, good head shape, dark eye, good ear carriage, excellent expression, level topline, handled well, nice type of dog, moved OK; 2 Pickett’s Valglo Singin’ The Blues, super balanced blue, good topline, well sprung ribs, nicely tucked-up in the loins, well muscled hindquarters, moved well & presented well; 3 Rastall & Durham’s Merimna Ahead Inline. LD (15,1) 1 Callaghan’s Bourtie Wot A Boy, b/b with a lot of good virtues, excellent in head, good eye, neat ears, well boned straight front, good feet, short coupled, well muscled hindquarters, in fit hard condition. CC, his third; 2 Marachowska & Marachowski’s Kalhols Black Magic at Passernomen, top quality b/b, very good head shape, dark eye, stood foursquare, level topline, good quarters, presented & moved well; 3 Beaufoy’s Wyrefare The Governor. OD (9,2) 1 Pickett’s Valglo Specialist, lovely shaped head, tidy well placed ears, good eye, straight front, deep brisket, ample rib, good condition & presented well. RCC; 2 Johnson & Pushko’s Ru Ch Tillcarr Tillerman, compact b/b/w, strong well proportioned head, lovely expression, strong powerful neck, good front, well ribbed body, in tiptop condition & handled well; 3 McGrath’s Jajca Phoenix From The Flame. MPB (12,1) 1 Kemp James’ Bekanbar Shining Star, b/b/w, 8 months, first class youngster, classic head with dark eye, neat ears, correct bite, level topline, lovely type, good overall balance, moved & handled well; 2 Hyde’s Sedgbred Beacon Baroness, b/b/w, 8 months, well constructed puppy, good head, keen alert expression, dark eye, neat ears, good in front, lovely body shape for age, moved well; 3 Nicholson’s Ballindona Bombshell. PB (4) 1 McGrath’s Jajca’s Sweet Dream, b/b puppy of good proportions, lovely head, nice expression, has all the virtues required for a promising future, moved well, presented well; 2 Winwood & Tunnah’s Cursus Summer Storm, similar to 1, nice overall balance, good level topline, short in back, in grand condition, moved & handled well. Just preferred the ring presence of 1; 3 Norman & Coates’ Sebsonic Seren Fach at Megastelle. JB (5) 1 Matthews & Jones’ Gallanstaff Precious Gift, red, nice outline, well put together, pleasing head & expression, correct ear carriage, good bone & strong quarters, excellent condition, moved well; 2 Canavan’s Boldstock Bell Quinn, b/b, nice type, in good condition, good head, muscular short body, ample rib, moved & showed well; 3 Pritchard & Rhodes’ Scratchline Tatanka. YB (4) 1 Gray’s Seastaff Sirius at Bullmaple, lovely headed bitch, dark eye, nicely boned true front, good feet, ample spring of rib, excellent in coat, moved well; 2 Booth & Grimwood’s Ramblestaff Jorja On My Mind, same type as 1, nice head shape, well balanced, in fit condition, enough bone, short coupled, handled well; 3 Mihaly’s Maxsta Madonna. NB (3) 1 J Sweet Dream; 2 G Precious Gift; 3 Winwood & Tunnah’s Cursus Summer Storm. GB (1) 1 J Sweet Dream. PGB (7,2) 1 Bowler’s Bethane Modjadji at Trelynbow, b/b/w, well shaped head, rose ears, powerful neckline, shapely body, muscular well let down quarters, in good form & condition, moved well; 2 Mihaly’s Maxsta Madonna, very nice overall picture, good head & expression, nice bone, short back with good rib, moved well & well handled; 3 Goree’s Hubulls Red Headed Woman at Skastaff. LB (15) 1 Funnell’s Kewaunee Pochontas for Powerpack, I awarded this bitch BPB the last time I judged, I was pleased today with her overall progress & quality, grand head, lovely expression, nicely boned, true front, ample spring of rib, short coupled, well toned quarters, grand condition. RCC; 2 Welsh’s Valglo Atilda for Staffwize, smart dark brindle, conditioning equalled that of 1 & so similar in type, good head, dark eye, strong muzzle, good depth of brisket, handled well; 3 Jackson’s Roughnecks Red Rose. OB (13,3) 1 Blacker’s Ch Crossguns Memphis Belle, cracking br/w, in immaculate coat & condition, beautiful head, dark eye, neat ears, lovely expression, short coupled, excellent rib, I liked her a lot. CC & BOB, was shortlisted in a strong group; 2 Hopkins’ Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika, well known quality bitch & worthy of her title, in beautiful condition; 3 Lowe & Hedges’ Ramblix Revisionist at Khanspride.
