Judge(s): MR N BENHAM Staffordshire Bull Terriers PD (2) 1 Quinn & Muir’s Tusselstaff Devil Inside at Maratana, 10 month old b/br, very neatly put together, lovely shaped head for age, correct bite, good eye placement, straight front, needs to body up, moved well; 2 Bain’s Mumiah Artful Dodger, r/w, only 8 months old but showing plenty of strength in head for age, beautiful expression, was a bit hard to assess body as was playing his handler up a bit, but shows plenty of potential. JD (6,3a) 1 O’Donovan & Corcoran’s Molru Alright Dave, b/br of quality, correctly proportioned head, dark round well placed eyes, neatest of ears giving a pleasing expression, strong powerful muzzle with plenty of underjaw, powerful neck flowing into well placed shoulders, nicely boned straight front with plenty of width of chest, ample ribcage, correct amount of tuck in loins, well muscled hams showing power with a good bend of stifle, in fit hard condition, moved & handled extremely well & was pleased to award him the CC & BOB & to see him go on to take G3 in a strong terrier group; 2 Farrelly’s Ronstaff Dash Of Class, another very nicely balanced b/br dog, lovely shaped head, keen expression, good shoulder placement, straight front, level topline, not as mature as 1st, needs to fill out, but a very nice dog, moved well; 3 Martin’s Staffeeon King Of The Mournes. PGD (2,1) 1 Moore & Connery’s Cicely Cloth Cap, brindle with a white flash, very typy dog, correct length of muzzle to skull, distinct stop, good bite, dark round eye, good ear carriage, straight in front, deep chest & well ribbed with a level topline, nice angulation in rearquarters, moved well. LD (3) 1 Edwards’ Byrnestaff Tiger Man, very compact maho/br, super headpiece all in proportion, strong tapered neck leading to good shoulder placement, straight well boned front, short coupled, stood foursquare, moved well; 2 McCarthy’s Lackyle Eiri Stoirm, b/br who fitted the standard well with no exaggerations, presents a well balanced picture, moved very well; 3 Blakeley’s Tarbhgorm Blackscull Lad. OD (7) 1 Clarke & Traver’s Ch Briganah Black Chieftain, b/br of quality, fits the standard to a ‘T’, super head, strong but not exaggerated, distinct stop with correct length & width of foreface to skull, keen expression, straight front & up on pasterns, good shoulder placement with correct amount of rib carriage, level topline leading to muscled rearquarters, moved & handled extremely well. RCC; 2 Stanway’s Waystaff What A Cracker, mah/br/w, as the name suggests he is a cracker, very clean & well defined headpiece, straightest of fronts, nice compact in body, very close decision, just preferred the overall balance of 1st, handled well; 3 Magee’s Ir Ch Bultery Action Replay. PB (0). JB (7,2) 1 Ross’ Mumiah Shinen Like A Diamond, this little girl shone for me today, showing plenty of potential, only 12 months old striking colour of red, very clean head with dark round eyes giving a beautiful expression, straight in front, level topline, stood foursquare, should do very well when fully matured; 2 Green & Cookes’ Aymstaff Angel Of Delight, another well balanced bitch, b/br, lovely shaped head with a short muzzle, correct bite, round dark eye with a keen expression, tended to lean to one side when stacked up which probably lost her the class; 3 Farrelly’s Ronstaff Diamond Dancer. PGB (4,1) 1 Sherlock & Melia’s Rathnari Step Out In Style, w/r, well constructed bitch, deep through head but nicely proportioned, she had a straight front with good width & depth of brisket, dining table topline which she held on the move; 2 Downey’s Ossydreams Secret Love, a very typy bitch, well balanced all over, neat ears setting off a pleasing expression, would have liked to have seen a bit more angulation in rearquarters; 3 Cusick’s Kacibulls Naughty N’Nice. LB (5,1) 1 Hopwood & Holt’s Boldstock Here I Am, b/br/w, strong head but still feminine, no exaggerations, correct bite, clean in lip, dark round eyes with the neatest of ears setting off a typical Stafford expression, well boned, straight front, nicely turning out at pasterns, correct depth of chest, ample rib on a short coupled body, level topline which she kept on the move, well angulated quarters, this bitch looked good from all angles, moved & handled expertly. RCC; 2 McConnellogue’s Elitebull Starlight of Lonemoor, a very compact b/br, many attributes to the 1st, feminine head, beautiful ear carriage which takes your eye, level topline & tucked up in loins, well constructed rearquarters, showed plenty of ring presence, moved well; 3 Quigley’s Rapstaff Wheeler Dealer at Cilledoire. OB (5,1) 1 Stanway’s Mosstrooper Making Mischief at Waystaff, w/r, right out of the top draw, a bitch you have to go over to appreciate her qualities, well defined broad deep skull, distinct stop, correct length & width of foreface, clean tight lip, excellent pigmentation, good reach of neck on well placed shoulders, straightest of fronts with good bone, well ribbed with a level topline leading to a powerful rearquarters, moved as if she owned the ring, very sound bitch, handled very well & was pleased to award the CC; 2 Terzi’s Unistar at Maxstaffy Bee Master, b/br, more petite than 1st, strong in head but still very feminine, well balanced all over, just would have liked a bit more of her, moved & handled well; 3 Johnston & Brown’s Ch Revelry Custom Made.
