PD

1 Powell & Stokes’ Foyleoak Red Rebel, fairly compact r/w with good head shape, good expression, deep foreface, good stop, nice ear placement, strong neck, well placed shoulders, adequate rib for his age, nice bend of stifle, handled very well;

2 Higham’s Bultery Game On, b/br dog with good substance, developing nicely, well shaped head with the necessary attributes, good shoulder placement, ample rib, moved OK & handled well;

3 Nolan’s Trufflestaff Black Warrior.

JD

1 McNally’s Ardaigh Playing For Thyme at Dunord, b/br, good definition in head, round eye, good bite with clean lips, sound in front, good strength in hindquarters, moved well;

2 Powell & Stokes’ Joey De Lux at Culldunne at Kendlea, very much the same as 1 but 1 looked more mature, could change places on a different day;

3 Oleary’s Wilfstaff The Rocket Man.

PGD

1 Jones’ Inner Steel of Foyleoak, Standard red dog, good blend of bull & terrier, good head of size to balance his overall body proportions, clean neck, well laid shoulders, good front & feet, well handled;

2 McFadden’s Ripstops Rossville Rebel, b/br, very immature dog that needs to come on, good outlines, nice round eye, good bite, nice backend, moved OK;

3 Greenlee’s Louabil Seventh Symphony.

LD

1 Hyde’s Sedgbred Black Diamond, well made b/br that is balanced, strong head with dark eye that is well place, good bite, neat ears, well boned, good spring of rib, short coupled with level topline, handled well, worthy winner;

2 Geffers’ Louabil Little Bit Toey, good overall size, pleasing head, good mouth, keen eye, good front with good bone, handled well;

3 Sherlock’s Wickstaff The Highway Man.

OD

1 Bradley, Bird & Page’s Ch Aymstaff Devil In Disguise, this was a very good class with some top dogs, but 1 was the fittest dog on the day, b/br with white, terrific chiselled skull, strong short muzzle with correct bite, dark round & correctly placed eye, neat ear placement, strong muscular neck, ample bone to balance, good topline kept on the move, good depth & width of body, well developed quarters, he moved freely for his handler & with style, in fit hard condition, handled very well. CC;

2 Pickett’s Valglo Specialist, another dog from the top drawer & is one of my favourites. Terrific head, dark round eye, neat ears, correct bite with big teeth, clean front, deep brisket, well boned legs & good feet, short coupled body, good hindquarters & tail carriage, moved soundly & handled very well, unlucky to meet 1 in such good form. RCC;

3 Galvin & Schofield’s Ch Scousious Pretzel Logic.

PB

1 Wood’s Bultery Magic Moment, striking 9 months b/br, up on her toes with a keen expression, cracking head with good ears, dark round eye, short muzzle with correct bite, straight front with good feet, level topline, good bend of stifle & good tuck-up. She worked well with her handler, & I will follow her career with interest. BP;

2 McNally’s Molru I Got A Feeling for Dunord, heavier pup than 1 with similar virtues;

3 Hughes’ Ryacstaff Raven’s Girl.

JB

1 Dickenson & Stewart’s Devils Angel, good example of this type of bitch I like, good head with dark round eye giving her a feminine look, correct length of muzzle, good front with ample rib, good topline, strong hindquarters, handled well; 2 Farrelly’s Ronstaff Show Dancer, very similar to 1 & with good head with a nice expression, correct front & shoulders, good feet, level topline & good backend; 3 McNally’s Int Noucamp Gypsy Dubh at Dunord. PGB 1 Jardine & Moffett’s Leger She’s The One, b/br with a very good head, nice round eye, strong underjaw, correct bite, clean front with good feet, ample rib & good tuck-up, good angulated backend, handled well;

2 Devlin’s Aymstaff Akilah GB, flashy coloured bitch in super condition, very good head & expression, strong underjaw, good bite, strong neck, level topline, well ribbed & good tuck-up, strong well angulated backend, worked very well with handler;

3 R Show Dancer.

LB

1 Farkas’ Maxsta Madonna, dark brindle with a super head & expression, clean outline when viewed from all angles, good neck & shoulders, straight front, tight feet & good pasterns, she stood well with level topline, tight fit body & backend, shown in tip-top condition, moved & handled well. Considered her for RCC;

2 Williams’ Bellajazz Annalisa, b/br with very good head & piercing expression, dark round eye, nice ears, correct bite, clean front with good feet, good rib, good backend moved both ways, handled very well, unlucky to meet 1;

3 Funnell’s Kewaunee Pocahontas for Powerpack.

OB

1 Trow’s Ch Hubbulls The Promise, this super red fills your eye, teaming with breed type & quality, is straight out of the top drawer & fits the Standard to a tee. Feminine head, distinct stop, correct clean mouth, dark round eye, neatest of ears, clean neck leading to correct shoulders, excellent front & tight feet with short black nails, enough bone, well sprung short coupled body, good drop of brisket, correct bend of stifle & well let down at hock, kept her lovely outline on the move with the utmost drive, presented & handled with expertise, a top class champion. CC & BOB;

2 Morrow & Martin’s Robinsons Little Devil, b/br with powerful feminine head, front is true, good feet & legs, remained up on her toes throughout, well sprung rib, level topline, good tuck-up, muscular quarters, correct angulations, of good balance & soundness, handled very well, unlucky to have met 1 on her day;

3 Farrelly’s Ronstaff Black Jewel.
