STAFFORDSHIRE BULL BATH 11 Judge: Mr J Devine STAFFORDSHIRE BULL JUDGE BATH 11 Staffords The ring was of good size & grass was cut short making it easy to assess the dogs. MPD (1) 1 Dallas’ Baysend Where’s Wally, nice balanced b/br, well in Standard, good shaped head, perfect mouth, ears well set, short black nails. Handler could improve especially on movement. PD (10) 1 Bruton’s Zakstaff Black Baron, good balanced b/br, nice head shape, good mouth, ears well set, up on pasterns, short back, level topline, feet well padded, short nails, moved & handled excellently for age, pleasure to go over. BP; 2 Turner’s Quatros Neat And Tidy, well balanced r/w pied in good condition, correct bite, level topline, good eye shape, short back. If handling could be improved especially when moving, should do well; 3 Cartwright’s Zakstaff Game On. JD (8) 1 Davidson’s Waystaff Dutch Minister, very typy br/w, lovely shaped head, short foreface, correct bite, good topline, nice feet, short nails, coat in good condition, very well balanced, moved well, handler showed him to his best, am sure he will win a lot more. RCC; 2 Hirst & Bibby’s Tarabel Dizzee Rascal, brindle, not overdone, Standard dog, constructed well, in hard condition, correct bite, short back, nice spring of ribs, moved well by good handler. Would prefer little more head but time is on his side & it should come to finish the picture; 3 McDermott’s Waystaff Dutch Chieftan. ND (6) 1 Membury’s Mitzstaff Fun To Flex, brindle, good head, correct bite, good dark round eye, constructed well, feet & nails in good order, level topline, good hindquarters. Handler really needs time with him, hard to assess but I had seen enough of him for him to win this class. Should turn into a good dog if time is put in; 2 Z Game On, brindle, good head shape, short foreface, correct bite, good round eye, very confident, moved well, handler really showed him at his best; 3 Fairhurst’s Fairlenium’s Snow Patrol. PGD (14) 1 Csikos & Farkas’ Devils And Fairies Flash Of The Blade, good shaped brindle, well balanced, good head, correct bite, good topline, strong hindquarters, coat in good condition. One of the fittest dogs of the day, a credit to owner. Handler showed & moved him to his best, splendid example of the breed who should do very well; 2 Moore’s Gear’s Of War, quality dog, good Standard size, correct bite, good front, short back, clean expression, in hard condition, moved & handled very well; 3 Birney’s Sebsonic Jealous Guy. LD (16) 1 Chesters’ Ryestaff Jack The Lad, quality b/br, pushed hard in challenge, Standard sized dog, classic head shape & expression, correct bite, neat ears, good round eye, well proportioned rib, nothing exaggerated, gold topline, in excellent condition, perfectly presented, moved well, handler really put a super effort in; 2 Farkas’ Speed Hunter R Kipling, quality brindle in top condition. Pushed 1 all the time, not a lot separating them. Imagine their places will swap from time to time. Same remarks apply to him as 1, never put a foot wrong; 3 Bradley, Bird & Page’s Aymstaff Devil In Disguise. OD (12) 1 Johnson & Andrews’ Tillcar Renegade Flame, excellent proportioned brindle, correct bite, neat ears, good round eye, coat in good condition, good front, feet & nails, level topline, strong hindquarters, correct tail carriage, perfectly presented, moved very well, first class, he was what I was hoping to find, never put a foot. CC & BOB; 2 Woollett’s Ashtock Red Miller, well proportioned red of quality, pushed 1 all the time, good head shape, correct bite, well balanced, in top condition, moved & handled superbly, lots more winning still to come from him, close decision; 3 Russell’s Mr Jack Obee Boy. VD (1) 1 Fairhurst’s Yorks One Time for Fairlenium, b/br/w, kept his shape well, good head, nice expression, still keeping fit, enthusiastic on the move, seemed to be enjoying his day, strong hindquarters, kept topline on the move, handled very well, pleasure to go over. MPB (6) 1 Davies’ Sebsonic Shinealight at Stormbull, b/br, good head shape, strong muzzle, correct bite, nice ear carriage, level topline, strong hindquarters for age, moved & handled well, should do well. BPB; 2 Norton’s Pendlestaff Brindle Babe of Tikkurilan, sound b/br, little bit taller than 1, correct bite, coat in good condition, first class, moved & handled well; 3 Budge’s Cyberstaff Honey’s Lil Gal at Budgestaff. PB (12) 1 Ferguson’s Roughnecks Refuse To Bend, well constructed red, within Standard, good head, correct bite, nice round eye, feet & nails in good order, short back, moved well, handler got the best out of her; 2 Bruton’s Zakstaff Black Duchess, brindle, good head shape, nice expression, still looking like a puppy, correct bite, nice ear carriage, level topline, coat in good condition, moved & handled very well, close decision; 3 Karlson’s Jewelstaff Ascari. JB (20) 1 Simpson’s Briganah Breaking Dawn, b/br, good shape, nothing exaggerated, good head shape, good feet, short nails, short back, strong hindquarters, well proportioned ribs, in hard condition, moved & handled very well, never put a foot wrong, should have good future. RCC; 2 Summerfield’s Canakey Sweetpea, quality red, good shape, head strong, mouth good, level topline, in good condition, sure she will do well; 3 Williams’ Bellajazz Annalisa. NB (14) 1 Thomas & Davies’ Samtan Mystical Gem, well balanced brindle, good head shape, strong muzzle, good feet, short nails, moved & handed well 2 Meara & Millgate’s Sabahouse Black Bedevil at Millamear, b/br, good Standard size, correct bite, clean expression, level topline, in hard condition, good feet, short nails, moved & handled well; 3 Z Black Duchess. PGB (11) 1 Smith’s Rowellstaff Red Ember at Willowstaff, red, classic head & expression, correct bite, neat ears, good round eye, well proportioned rib, nothing exaggerated, good topline, strong hindquarters, in excellent condition, perfectly presented, moved well, handler really put a super effort in showing her to her best; 2 Hyde’s Sedgbred Beacon Baroness, nice balanced b/br, well put together, in good condition, correct bite, good ribs, strong hindquarters, owner put a lot of work in, moved & shown well; 3 Coble’s Surestaff Valentiana. LB (16) 1 Winwood & Tunnah’s Cursus Summer Storm, quality brindle, well in the Standard, not overdone, lovely head shape, correct bite, good round eye, short back, good level topline, good feet, short nails, in very good condition, moved & handled well, looked good in challenge, should do well; 2 Byrnes’ Lackyle Inion Profile, quality brindle, pushed 1, Standard size, in very good condition, correct bite, short back, good feet, short nails, moved freely keeping topline straight, handled well, should do well; 3 Frankland’s Aldwych Tiger Lily. OB (10) 1 Hopkins’ Ch Trufflestaff Monifa Kanika, brindle, one of the top bitches around, great champ of the breed & will be hard to beat, excellent proportioned bitch, well proportioned rib, coat in good condition, good feet & nails, strong hindquarters, correct tail carriage, moved well, perfectly presented. First time I have been close to her, was what I hoped to find. Still plenty of winning in this animal. CC; 2 Taylor’s Niatona Knitted By Nana’s, well balanced b/br in top condition, correct head shape, good bite, well placed ears, nice round eye, nice expression, impressive bitch, handled & moved well, challenged all the time, am sure she will have many wins to come; 3 Dewar’s Mintmar One For One. VB (3) 1 Ferguson’s Ch Challimers Molly Malone at Fergustaff, pied, still very good ch, not finished yet, looked well in challenge & was considered, fits Standard well, good head shape, correct bite, well proportioned bitch, strong hindquarters, coat in good condition, moved & handled well; 2 Robbins’ Princess Natala Kaja, nice red, still looking good & fit, nice shape, good head & body, correct bite, stood square & looked well, moved & handled very well; 3 Funnell’s Knockon Minerva of Powerpack.
