SKYE WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mr S Plane SKYE JUDGE WELSH KC 11 Skye Terriers JD (3) 1 White’s Talyot Menelaus at Gumshoe, black with long head, good eye, correct mouth, well feathered ears, good bone, level topline with good rib. Beautiful condition but still immature in body & depth; 2 Burscough’s Glorfindel Secret Shadow at Kilfinan, shade shorter in head & overall length but well balanced. Lovely coat & condition, dark eye, correct mouth, deep well ribbed body, well set tail. Could be tighter in elbow on the move; 3 Bell’s Celticbridge The Ferryman. PGD (1) 1 Proud’s Gleanntan Gulliver’s Travels to Dolphaz, very free moving black with long balanced head, shade strong in skull. Well set ears, dark eye, correct mouth, well placed shoulders, level topline, maintains his outline on the move. LD (2) 1 Miller’s Feorlig Arfur Sixpence, quality dog, full of breed type, long balanced head, heavy bone, well placed shoulders, good topline, deep well shaped rib, in really good coat & condition. Needs time to fill his frame; 2 Ankcorn’s Feorlig True Destiny of Pensford, attractive cream with balanced head, straight front, heavy bone, deep ribs, well coupled, lovely coat texture. OD (3) 1 Curtis’ Gumshoe Bugsy Malone of Brakemill, this well constructed black headed a really quality class. He has maturity & soundness, well shaped head with lovely ears & eye, straight front, keeps his topline moving, in sufficient coat of good texture. CC & BOB; 2 Breeze’s Ch Salena Black Shadow, so alike to 1 for size & outline, handles very well with his good construction. Just not as steady on the move. RCC; 3 Harrison’s Ch Papplewick Knockando for Trenson. JB (1) 1 Bell’s Glorfindel Spring Secret, this drop ear is of good size & type but still looks a youngster. Pleasing head & well shaped eye. Front needs to develop but ribs are deep, lovely quarters, moved steadily. PGB (2) 1 Proud’s Knowlespring Dream Walk to Dolphaz, of excellent type with the best of fronts, quality head, well shaped eye, lovely fringes, good topline with deep ribs. Moves freely but lifts her tail a little; 2 King’s Dark Secret at Celticbridge, does not have the maturity of 1 as yet but well constructed with lovely head, dark eye, correct mouth, well fringed ear. Keeps her topline but not as positive behind as 1. LB (2) 1 King’s Celticbridge Spring Magic, cream of lovely type & balanced throughout, head is good & dark eye, correct mouth, best of fronts with plenty of breast bone, deep well ribbed body, well set tail; 2 White’s Salena Special Effect at Gumshoe, another good fronted bitch, head is pleasing, correct mouth. Can lose her topline standing & on the move. Lovely coat & condition. OB (4) 1 MacQueen’s Ch Azrakhan Capercaillie, lovely mature black with long balanced head, correct eye & mouth, in super coat, kept her topline, moved well on a loose lead. CC; 2 Miller’s Ch Feorlig Somthing Wicked, perhaps not as mature as 1 but so good for type & construction. Not giving of her best all the time on the move but won the RCC on breed type; 3 Grainger’s Perrylands Oklahoma. STUART PLANE |
