SKYE THREE COUNTIES 14 Judge: Ms J D Harrison BEST OF BREED : 4862 WOODHEAD Mrs J Ch Knowlespring Mistletoe SKYE JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 14 Skye Terriers As we all know the Skye Terrier is in danger with their numbers, so it saddened me that the Skye was fifth in the ring, that made it late in the afternoon to get in the ring then a rush to get to the Group, what upset me most was when we got in the ring it was 5 dogs & their owners, two stewards, me as judge & two men sweeping the floor in Hall 7 & no one else knew we were there, this isn’t helping our breed. JD 1 Woodhead’s Syeomania’s Mozart mit Knowelspring, lovely strong dog, head masculine, good earset & dark eye, good reach of neck running down to level topline, nice straight front & a good rear which he used on the move but needs to settle a little, lovely cream jacket although still on the colour change. OD 1 Curtis’ Brakemill Barnum, I’ve watched this dog from the other side of the ring & watched him bloom, nice head, correct mouth, good earset & dark eye giving him a lovely expression. Correct shoulder placement & straight front, level topline leading down to a well muscled rear which helped him move well around the ring. Lovely clear cream jacket. My only criticism I would like to have a bit more body mass. BD; 2 Parker’s Glorfindel Deacon Brodie, strong head, correct bite & good earset, lovely dark eye giving him a mischievous expression. Straight front, strong neckline running through to a strong level topline & well muscled rear, moved & showed well. Before he got to my ring this boy won the Open stakes. JB (). OB 1 Woodhead’s Ch Knowelspring Mistletoe, lovely head with the correct bite & earset, nice dark eye giving her a lovely expression, straight front & strong neckline, level topline, well sprung frame & good development on the rear, moved with ease around the ring & was settled on the stack, good jacket making her my BOB; 2 Curtis’ Brakemill Briar Rose, feminine head with the correct bite & ear carriage, nice dark eye, would have like a little more neckline, level topline, well formed rear which helped her move on this very slippery floor, lovely on the stack.
