SKYE SOUTH WALES 17 Judge(s): MAX KING SKYE JUDGE SOUTH WALES 17 1. Woodhead’s Knowlespring Drummer Boy. Stood alone but worthy winner, liked his keen and outgoing temperament, but it just needs firmer control when on the move to get even more out of this promising youngster, head developing well, good mouth and neat ears, very nice neck and shoulders, just needs more development in body, in full coat, when settled move well. Res Dog CC. OD (2) 1. Breeze’s Ch Salena The Magnificent One. Elegant and refined appearance with air of arrogance, good head and expression, strong neck with nicely proportioned body, good coat and well presented, moved with fluidity and ease. Dog CC and BOB. 2. Parker’s Glorfindel Deacon Brodie. Nice profile, well developed head, good body, coat not at it’s best, moved out well. VD (1) 1. Burscough’s Glorfindel Secret Shadow at Kilfinan. 7 yrs, broad skull with well set ears, powerful jaw, strongly made body, moved with ease. PB (2) 1. Parker’s Tweedsmuir Feebie Mine. Cream, coming together well for this stage of development, good length of body, just needs to keep head up on the move to hold shape and outline. BP. 2. Barraclough’s Latroonis Pocahontas to Wemoway. Giving a lot away on age and maturity, but pleasing young lady, front and rear at different stages of development, but all basic essentials in place, happy and settled on the move. JB (2) 1. Evans’ Kometa Rossi at Maryodyme. Would prefer a little stronger head, but very feminine appearance, nicely made body and in good coat, moved out well. 2. Roberts’ Glorfindel Effort at Sunabil. Nice type but not helped by tending to stand too tucked up which spoiled topline and overall appearance, not settling on the move. PGB (2.1) 1. Hasker’s Perrylands Toffee. A bit of a handful for her young handler, but he coped admirably, good head with well set ear, well made shoulders, just needs a bit firmer handling on the move, but when settled and focusing on task in hand moved OK. LB (3.2) 1. Woodhead’s Knowlespring Candy Cane. Nicely proportioned and attractive bitch with good head and expression, liked neck and shoulders and length of body, good tailset, just needs to maintain shape and outline on the move. OB (2) 1. Zvezdina’s Juger Edelweiss Mary Poppins. Strongly built throughout but still retaining feminine appearance, liked overall outline, good head, mouth and ears, nice length of neck, good shoulders, well bodied, coat in good order, moved soundly. BCC. I understand her 3rd and qualifying, congratulations. 2. Breeze’s Ch Salena Silver Sapphire. Very close decision in this class and was splitting hairs in making final decision, just preferring front of 1, very well turned out, strong head and well set ears, nicely made body, in good coat, moved true. Res BCC. GoodCitB (1) 1. Perrylands Toffee. Max King (Judge) |
