SKYE SOUTH WALES 16 Judge(s): MR ANDY HAMILTON Skye Terriers Thank you to the committee & exhibitors for a lovely entry, made the trip down worthwhile. Thank you to the steward on the day. PD (2) 1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Drummer Boy, lovely 9 months, has a good future, head & body of right type, long & level, right front with nice shoulder, moved well; 2 Huckle’s Silvaspangles Midas Touch, nice head & ear placement. Good length of body, only just over 6 mohths & still has to mature will come, showed well. JD, PGD (0). LD (4) 1 Thomson’s Glorfindel Shadow Boxer, strong head with right ear carriage, dark eye, lovely tight front & lay of shoulder, neck of nice length, level topline, good spring of rib with long body with right tailset, moved OK front & rear, coat in lovely texture. RCC; 2 Large’s Juger Edel Weiss Mickey Mouse is Madaza, drop eared of good quality, nice head type with dark eye & correct bite, sound in front, level topline, sound on the move; 3 Bailey’s Talyot Nimrod by Marjayn. OD (5) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Barnum, strong head with dark eye & lovely ear placement with good fringing, well arched neck to correct shoulders, nice spring of rib, lovely body length, level topline & tailset, moved with ease. CC; 2 Smith’s Lam-Baias Mad Max at Marrcrieff, strong head & muzzle, good reach of neck to nice shoulders, great length of body with level topline on the move, moved with ease; 3 Burscough’s Glordindel Secret Shadow at Kilfinan. VD (1) 1 Harrison’s Knowlespring Jail House Roc or Trenson, still looked as good as the last time I judged this dog, lovely head & expression, dark eye & well placed ears, lovely long & well coated body, level on the move & stacked, moving well; 2 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Celtic Keepsake, good head & eye, nice front in good coat, not as level as 1. GCD (0). PB (0). JB (1) 1 Monaghan’s Tweedsmuir Shooting Star, lovely front with good bone, nice head & eye, level topline, would have liked a bit more length. PGB (3,1a) 1 Burscough’s Glorfindel Shadow Wings at Kilfinan, lovely head & expression, well arched neck with level topline with enough body & bone, moved very well; 2 Hasker’s Perrylands Toffee, nice head & front, in good coat, not as long as 1, moved well. LB (2) 1 Smith’s Marrcrieff Glen Glamis, quality bitch, head of lovely type, correct neck to lay of shoulder with good topline, moved out well; 2 Miller’s Feorlig Up Up And Away, lovely outline, good head & neck, in lovely coat, moved well, a bit boxey for me. OB (3) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Briar Rose, she came, she saw, she conquered. CC & BOB; 2 Breeze’s Salena Silver Sapphire, lovely quality & outline, good profile when standing, head of nice type, correct eye & bite, level topline, has all she needs to make it. RCC; 3 Woodhead’s Ch/Ir Ch Knowlespring Mitletoe. VB (2) 1 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Celtic Cruisade, very sound on the move, nice head & neck, sound in front with good length of body, moved well; 2 King’s Celticbridge Stormy Waters, head of nice type, not so level on the day.
