SKYE TERRIER

MPD(1)

1 Richardson's Taylot Mithras. 8 months, dark silver, good head with well set ears, nice dark eye, strong jaw, front and rear ok, quality jacket for his age, moved with drive and he was not put off with this noisy venue.

PD(1)

1 Marshall's Glorfindel Black Mage. Black dog, very masculine head, well set ears with beautiful ear fringing, big ribs, well set tail, front and rear ok, a lovely jacket, needs to settle down on the move, a perfect picture when stood. BPIB.

PGD(1)

1 Robson's Knowlespring Daredevil Dan With Mitsui. Cream with black points, nicely furnished with well set ears, following into a lovely neckline, topline and rear correct, this dog is very low to ground, one of the few dogs so close to breed standard, excellent harsh coat, combined with lovely free movement, pushed hard for the CC but today he had to be happy with the Res CC.

LD(3, 1)

1 Richardson's Talyot Learchus. Dark silver, good strong head, well set ears with big white teeth, really nice all round dog, good front and rear with firm topline, tail well set, moved with ease, his jacket is coming on nicely for his age, one to keep an eye on.

2 Barrass' Gallondean Moonlight Shadow ShCM. Silver dog, super head, neck and front, jacket in good order, unfortunately his handler kept pulling his rear legs out, which unfortunately made him look rear high, which spoilt the overall picture, the dogs topline is ok when stood free, on the move the dog had a happy tail, his coat condition was quality.

OD(4, 1)

1 Curtis' Gumshoe Bugsy Malone Of Brakemill. Dark silver, very masculine dog with super body shape, a head that takes your attention straight away, long neck, super length of back, front and rear true, harsh condition jacket, tail kept level on the move, this with positive movement took him to the Dog CC.

2 Samuel's Ch Skyelander Wee Man Of Storr. Pale silver drop-eared dog, a dog I have always had a weakness for, but today he let himself down, standing he looked magnificent and was in contention for top honours, but unfortunately he refused to lift his head from the ground, which spoilt my chances of seeing any correct movement, a disappointing day for judge and handler, in beautiful condition.

3 MacQueen's Lynaire Mr Darcey Of Azrakhan ShCM.

MPB(1)

1 Shaw's Talyot Marpessa At Stonecellars. Silver. So not to discourage the owners from showing I pointed out that he needed ring training and handling skills, no further comment.

PB (1) 1 Shaw's Talyot Marpessa At Stonecellars.

NB(1)

1 Shaw's Pride Of Cleveland At Stonecellars. Cream with black points, body shape ok, both dog and owner needs walking skills.

PGB(2)

1 Boothman's Papplewick Stathisla Of Caranath. Dark silver, very feminine head, well set ears, good dark eye, good neck and shoulders, level topline and good rear, so low to ground making a very nice picture, alert at all times, even when moving, quality coat.

2 Shaw's Pride Of Cleveland At Stonecellars.

LB(5, 1)

1 Marshall's Glorfindell Lucretia. Black, 2 years old, beautiful headpiece dripping in ear fringes, so silky and soft, dark eye and good jaw, all the 3 Ls, nice rib and loin, tail well set, jacket in super neck, maybe I would have liked it a little harsher, this combined with positive movement took her to the Res CC.

2 Richardson's Talyot Katy. Silver with good dark points, well placed ear set, good balanced head, good neck, front and rear, held her topline on the move, well set on tail, a shade lower to ground than winner, at this moment just lacking coat, moved very well.

3 Samuel's Skyelander Midnight Dream.

OB(5)

1 MacQueen's Ch Azrakhan Capercaillie ShCM. Silver with black points, this bitch is such breed standard and for once did everything right for me standing alongside the dog, looking so masculine and herself looking so glamorous and feminine, both moving like the wind. I could not deny her CC and BOB.

2 McLeod's Esgias Sula The Late Edition. Silver with black points, very pretty, feminine Skye, well balanced head, nice dark eye, good neck and shoulders, good level topline with a happy tail, nice low hocks with a beautiful conditioned coat, again a very good example of the breed, moved well.

3 Robson's Lynaire Shes No Lady With Mitsui.
