SKYE SCOTTISH BREEDS 09 Judge(s) MR R WRIGHT DCC KNOWLESPRING SUNDAY BEST (MRS J WOODHEAD)
VD (2) 1 Garland-Collins’ Ch Bhuidh Steamy Windows, quality & balance to this dark grey in A1 coat & condition, typical head with good properties, pleasing outline, good ribcage, excellent flow & topline, well pronounced muscling to good quarters, moved & showed very well; 2 Johnson’s Oldmeer Ruby’s Rising Son, sound with good coat, decent head, layback & ribbing. Topline could be better & movement not so positive. JD (1) 1 Neilson’s Kenocto Black Magic, youngster with good head & layback, long low & level. Front not his fortune & light in body, good quarters, sound but needs more verve & a higher head carriage to impress. PGD (5) 1 Breeze’s Salena Black Shadow, top class dark silver, excellent head, super neckline, layback & flow with excellent topline, deep, well filled rib, defined quarters, A1 coat & condition, sound & flowing. RCC; 2 Harrison’s Knowlespring Jailhouse Rock for Trenson, very close up top class cream, well headed with excellent properties, excellent front & forehand, topline & correct ribbing, in lovely bloom with good hard condition, sound & showy. A little tail-proud; 3 Skyelander Wee Man of Storr. LD (4) 1 Samuel’s Glorfindel Son Of Angus, well balanced, dark silver with proportioned head, good neck & layback, LLL, with strong loin & quarters, well presented, moved & showed well; 2 Pringle’s Tsuki Outlaw Star, nice sort of dark silver with good head, excelling in neck & layback, good body, long & level, good coat texture, sound; 3 Gallondean Moonlite Shadow. OD (6,1) 1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Sunday Best, silver of much quality, balance & type, excellent head, quality neck & layback, LLL, excellent coat & condition, good depth of rib which could fill more, well defined in thigh & gaskin, using quarters to great effect on the move with sound fluency. CC & BOB; 2 Marshall’s Ch Black Touch Of Morningsky at Glorfindel, dark silver of much quality, balanced head, lovely neck, layback & topline, well filled cage, with good quarters not used to effect so not so fluent or assertive, excellently presented; 3 Jeraro Endeavour. VB (1) 1 Ch Esgia The Umbria, dark silver of top class make & shape & looking so well, I think I have given her high honours in the past. Full of type & balance, in lovely bloom, moving & showing so well, strongly considered in the challenge. JB (0). PGB (3,1) 1 Samuel’s Skyelander Midnight Dream, presenting an appealing profile with good excellent head, good forehand, neck & ribbing of good depth, LLL, hard condition to quarters, moved & showed with style & panache; 2 Garland-Collins’ Bhuidh Motholeli, dark silver, good head, moderate forehand, good coat texture. Dull & erratic moving. LB (2,1) 1 Robson’s Lynaire She’s No Lady with Mitsui, nice sort with balance, excellent coat & condition to this balance headed dark silver with appeal in flow, topline & body, good loin & decent quarters used so well in fluent movement. OB (5,1) 1 Bryden’s Ch Acheo Bidey In, top quality all through this lovely, feminine bitch, appealed so much for her overall balance & type & presented in A1 condition of coat & muscling, used to great effect on the move, which won her the day. CC; 2 Macqueen’s Ch Azrakhan Capercailie, very close up for quality, balance & type, so well presented. Not so positive in hind which decided RCC; 3 Knowlespring She Knows. ROGER WRIGHT |
