SKYE OCT 25 Judge: Mr K Baldwin PGD (1) 1 Taylor�s, Riskerytree Ruaridh at Billkenstar, 2 years old grey, masculine head, kindest of dark eyes, strong jaw and scissor bite with big teeth, correct ear set, long neck and good lay of shoulders, legs short and muscular with plenty of bone, long level back and short loin, coat of good length and textured coming along nicely, good rear quarters giving him easy, free movement. OD (3) 1 Pringle�s, Ch Esgia The Exciseman ShCEx, 7 � years young silver grey, powerful masculine head, kindest of dark eyes, punishing jaw and correct ear set, crested neck and good lay of shoulders, plenty of bone giving him an excellent front, level topline with correct ratio of rib to loin. Well coupled giving him his ease of movement, nice double coat of good length. Moved out free and effortless. Best Dog 2 Mclean and Weir�s, Rhoderns Hamish, 3 � years old black, masculine through-out, good head, dark eye and good length of muzzle, well fringed erect ears, correctly set and carried, good length of neck into level topline, long enough with a short loin, well carried correct tail, lovely coat of good length and texture, moved well with power. Reserve Best Dog 3 Mcleod�s, Esgia Glen Garioch, Special Beginners D (1) 1 Taylor�s, Verumamicus Drusus, 17 months old silver grey with black points, masculine head, good length of muzzle and dark eye, well fringed ears but lacks head furnishing, good length of neck into level topline, long back with short loin, well muscled thigh, moved out unfortunately with uncoordinated rear which looked very strange. PB (1) 1 Ryan�s, Feorlig No Good Deed, 6 months old cream, she has a super feminine head with cheeky dark eye, correct ear set with fringing coming in nicely, crested neck, flowing down into well placed shoulders, level topline, enough rib and short loin, lovely turn of stifle allowing purposeful, steady movement for one so young, well shown. Best Puppy PGB (2) 1 Hamilton�s, Headscrook Heads or Tails, 3 � years old black, feminine head with dark eye and sweet expression, scissor bite, well placed and fringed ears, level topline with correct ratio of rib to loin, tail well carried, hard straight coat, soft rear thigh, moved out freely with a slight bounce to her gait. 2nd, Rod, Mclean and Weir, Rhoderns Boreray, 15 months old cream, feminine head with dark eye and sweet expression, scissor bite, drop ears well placed, level topline with correct ratio of rib to loin, a touch lean in body and I would prefer more coat, tail well carried, soft rear thigh, moved out freely OB (4) 1 Holt�s, Coriend Let�s Do Justice, 2 � years old cream with lovely black well feathered erect ears, lovely for size with feminine head, good length and depth of muzzle giving a strong jaw and scissor bite, lovely ear set with plenty of fringing, balanced front and rear quarters, good length of rib and strong loin, well muscled rear allowing her freedom of movement, gleaming coat of great quality and plenty of it, beautifully presented and well handled. Best Bitch and Best of Breed. 2 Pringle�s, Ch Esgia First and Fairest, 7 � years young cream, she is a lovely old fashioned bitch, not flashy but with nice feminine head, dark eye and scissor bite with large teeth, nicely construction fore and aft and moves very well, lovely harsh topcoat and beautifully handled, she just had to give way today to a younger bitch who was on her toes today.
