SKYE SKC MAY 24 Judge: Mrs J Maxwell SKYE JUDGE SKC MAY 24 I thought this a quality entry of the Heavenly Breed, it was such a pleasure to go over them. 1 Taylor and Williamson’s Tarskavaig Over The Sea, what a lovely outline to this handsome silver chap with black points. Length and strength to head, dark expressive eye, powerful jaw and well set prick ears with fringing. Slightly crested neck and well boned, padded feet. Long, low and level, held his topline beautifully throughout. Hard straight outer coat, soft undercoat. Moved fluidly and true but does need to pick up the pace a bit. DCC. 2 McLean and Weir’s Rhoderns Hamish, masculine dark silver, again presented in super coat and condition. Strong and powerful head and jaw. Well boned with padded feet, deep ribbing and strong loin. Held a good topline both stacked and moving. 3 McLeod’s Esgia Glen Garioch. 1 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Walk The Walk, this dark silver dog has developed in head and has enough width across skull, with overall length and powerful jaw. Well balanced angulation, strong bone and well muscled. Level and low, and pleasing body length, moves freely and showing pads. Active and true, holding topline. Fulfilling all his promise. RCC. 2 Pringle’s Ch Esgia The Exciseman ShCEx, smashing silver dog who appealed for attractive head, super expression and correct outline. All the L’s plus a beautiful hard, flat coat. Well off for bone and good depth to chest. Just not moving as I felt he should today. 3 Heath’s Ch Lavaux’s Bahamian Chris. 1 McLeod’s Esgia Glen Garioch, dark silver with well shaped head and super expression. Of good length and decent bone, with hard flat coat and soft undercoat. Moving freely and showing pads. 1 McLean & Weir’s Rhoderns Ananke, this charming dark silver is feminine and totally fits the bill for age and stage. Head developing well, with enough length and powerful muzzle. Liked her body proportions and balanced angulation fore and aft. Coat growing down, fringing coming on ears. Moved freely. BPB & BP. JB (2) 1 Rhoderns Ananke. 2 Moore and Moore’s Sagasky Kon Tiki (Imp Swe), pleasing head, definitely female but strong.Expressive dark eye. Strong in body and good for length, topline slightly rising at the moment. Clearing cream, hard coat. 1 Roberts Tarskavaig Speed Bonny Boat At Sunabil, dark silver with powerful but feminine head, good width and with strength to jaw. Nicely fringed, well set ears, super expression. Liked her front and rear angles and depth to chest. Good length to body and moved fluidly and true. Hard, flat coat. 2 Shuttleworth and Whincup’s Wondersky Wish You Were Here At Whicheeta (Imp USA)in lovely order and with length and strength to head, powerful jaw. Good length to neck and good texture to coat. I just preferred overall length of winner. 3 Hamilton’s Headscrook Heads Or Tails. 1 McLeod’s Esgia Cry Freedom, dark silver drop ear, with typical slightly lower head carriage. Head pleased for strength and length, but definitely feminine. Good overall length with deep chest and topline held well. Moved out freely, showing pads. 2 Heath’s Skyeshire Rosie, lovely cream with black points in good coat and condition, liked proportions to head and neck. Perhaps rising slightly to rear in topline . Moved with purpose. 1 Pringle’s Ch Esgia First And Fairest, beautiful silver bitch with pretty much everything that’s required in all the right places and proportions, all at the right time. Super outline, length and topline. Well boned, balanced and in tip top condition, with hard flat coat and correct undercoat. Moved with drive and without effort. BCC & BOB. 2 Grainger’s Black Cuillins Catriona JW (Imp Deu), one I liked as a pup and she has blossomed into a super bitch. Very balanced all through and, super expression and head powerful but definitely female, deep ribbing, short loin, level topline. Maybe a shade bigger made, but so well put together, RCC. 3 Moore and Moore’s Ir Ch Sagasky Hummingbird At Highroad Of Larelkie Ir J Ch. 1 Heath’s Perrylands Hello Again, classy silver bitch, lovely head for shape and super expression. Well placed ears with fringing, enough length to neck and long, low and level. Great coat and condition and very active and spry on the move, showing pads. BV and Veteran Group 4. 2 McLeod’s Noap Charoit Madlen Mardzheri At Esgia (Imp Rus) dark silver, in good order and proportions all through, pleased for head, neck and bone. Moved out well but just losing topline on the stack. 1 Hamilton’s Headscrook Heads or Tails, attractive bitch, with good length and strength to head, though would just prefer ear set a little higher. Slight crest to neck and all the L’s. Active and free moving and in super, hard flat coat.
