What a wonderful quality entry of Skye terriers, many thanks to all exhibitors. It was a pleasure & very enjoyable to go over your wonderful breed. Thank you.

1. MARSHALL Mrs G. But Beautiful Of Morningsky. 15 mth feminine bitch. Good for size, Nice shape & balance. Long & low. Head in proportion & ears well set & held well. Good length of neck. Decent front. Well boned throughout. Oval ribbing of adequate length & short loin. Coat in good condition, straight & flat. Moved freely, covering the ground effortlesley.
2. LARGE Miss S D. Juger Edelweiss Mickey Mouse Is Madaza (Imp). 11 mth old, impressive male puppy. Long & low. Strong & powerful throughout for age. Well boned & great muscletone. Masculine head of good proportions, drop ears of good size, black nose & dark sparkling expressive eye. Oval ribs of good length. Strong loin. Good tailset. Coat coming through, as expected in a youngster, in varying shades but should be cream when finished. Moved well when settled, keeping a straight topline. He did however at times appear jerky in profile. Moved true coming & going with drive from behind. Best Puppy in Breed. Was delighted to watch him later go onto be awarded Puppy Grp 2 in the main ring, where it was good to see that he moved more freely.

1. MARSHALL Mrs G Glorfindel Shadow Witch. A lot to like about this young lady. Lovely black of good size & proportions. Gives a very balanced feminine outline when standing. Lovely head, eyes, well placed / sized ears. Neck well set on shoulders & carrying head well on the move. Adequate ribbing & body. Well set tail. Sporting a lovely jacket today. Moved out well, keeping topline, covering the ground & true coming & going, driving on with style.
2. LARGE Miss S D. Bunnybois Indulgence Is Madaza. Nice dog to go over. Pleasing head, good ears & dark eye. Well constructed throughout. In good body tone, well bodied & muscled. In lovely coat. Kept topline on the move, with correct tail carriage. Thought he looked a little stiff in movement at times.

1. BREEZE Mrs S. Ch Salena The Special One. Outstanding male who headed a nice class. Fitted the standard to a T. Long, low & level on the move. He has a masculine head with everything in proportion, good earset & a sparkling expressive eye. Well constructed throughout & sound as a pound. He moved effortlessly & fluently around the ring, driving on from behind, coat flowing, carrying his head & himself well. Was a pleasure to go over him & award him Best of Breed. Was later shortlisted in the group.
2. BARRASS Mrs M T. Ch Lavaux Spirit Of The Isle Of Gallondean Sh.CM. One I have judged before & she gets better all the time. Pushed the male hard for BOB & would have been BB if been able to award. Just lost out today on the final runaround, where her head carriage was low & not giving the complete picture of the male. Similar attributes apply as the winner. Fitting the standard perfectly with nothing overdone. Put down in great condition & coat. A pleasure to go over.
