SKYE PAIGNTON 09 Judge: Mr A P Stephenson SKYE JUDGE PAIGNTON 09 Skye Terriers PD (1) 1 Miller’s Feorlig Arfur Sixpence, very young, dark silver, strong head, well set ears, good body shape for one so young, moved out well, most promising. BP. JD (1) 1 Bailey & Hansel’s Mighty Mouse by Marjajn, cream with black points, stunning head, dark eye & good mouth, strong outline, super topline, well set tail, nice jacket, bit of a handful on the move but with time should have fluent movement. PGD (2,1a) 1 Downe’s Tsuki Freedom Star, cream, good points, sound head, good neck, nice topline, very hard jacket, well set tail, moved freely, presented very well. LD (4) 1 Samuel’s Skyelander Wee Man of Storr, pale silver, drop ear spot on earset, strong head, all the three Ls, lovely long neck. Tailset could be a fraction lower, quality jacket, free movement. RCC; 2 Parker’s Glorfindel Basil Brush, pale silver, well placed ears, very similar attributes to 1, deciding factor was 1 was lower to ground, am sure these two will change places many times; 3 Grainger’s Perrylands Ambassador. OD (6,2) 1 Marshall’s Ch The Black Touch Of Morningsky at Glorfindal, was surprised to see this dog but it was my pleasure to go over him, quality dog, super outline, beautiful black jacket, lovely movement, qualities work for me. CC & BOB; 2 Baraclough’s Ch Skyeotts Midnight Majesty at Wemoway, super black drop, all quality. Was a bit sad on topline which spoilt overall picture, presentation & movement was spot-on, pushed hard for RCC; 3 Richardson & Evens’ Am Ch Abbeywater Athamas at Talyot. PB (2) 1 King‘s Celticbridge Northern Star, cream, good head, well set ears, good front & rear, strong topline, happy tail, good jacket coming on nice; 2 Miller‘s Feorlig Angel Dust, silver, very sweet. Just looking the baby quality outline, pipped on co-ordination with handler but am sure this will be corrected. JB (3,1) 1 McLeod’s Esgia’s Sula The Late Edition, silver with black points, extremely feminine, good head, beautiful fringed ear, good neck, front & rear sound, all the 3 L’s with a quality coat, one to keep an eye on; 2 Bailey & Hansel’s Celticbridge My Lady by Marjayn, silver, all the 3 L’s. Not the maturity of 1, needing more coat to complete the picture, giving her handler problems on the move. PGB (2) 1 Downe’s Jero S’wonderful of Tsuki, dark silver bitch, has come on so well & just shows what hard work can do, nice head, good neck & front, sound well held topline, good tailset with attitude, well presented; 2 Samuel’s Skyelander Midnight Dream, pale silver, shade bigger than 1, which was the only deciding factor, very well presented. LB (4,1) 1 Robson’s Lynaire Shes No Lady with Mitsui, dark silver, super head, good eye, strong bite, very feminine, good out line, nice front & rear, tailset could be a shade lower, nice quality coat combined with sound movement won her the class; 2 Marshall’s Glorfindall Betty Boop, pale silver, very nice to look at stood. Gave her handler some hard work on the move which I could not make right; 3 Shuttleworth’s Perrylands Stoller cum Whicheeta. OB (6,1) 1 Barraclough’s Sw Ch Skyeotts Amnesix High Sky Miracle, black drop, super head, ears so flat capped, good neckline, super topline & well set tail, very hard quality coat, the best I have seen her looking, great movement. CC; 2 MacQueen’s Ch Azrakhan Capercaillie, silver, have always admired, stunning outline. Coat was out of condition & her reluctance to co-operate with handler cost her the CC. RCC; 3 MacQueen’s Ch Acheo Achiltibuie. ALLAN STEPHENSON Go To Top Of Page |
