SKYE TERRIER

MPD (2)

1 Richardson's Talyot Mthras. 8 months old youngster showing great promise (maturity) at present a baby with masculine head, good topline, moved out well both fore and aft, silver coat coming along well.

2 Bell's Celtic Bridge The Ferry Man. I love this 8 month old youngster that thought the day was a great game and did not wish to stand still, cream with black pigmentation, stunning head, good shoulder placement but would not stand still to get a true picture of length, when settled should do well.

PD (1)

1 Marshell's Glorfindel Black Magic. 11 months black, profuse coat, immaculately presented, head not as masculine as the minors lovely expression, good height to length ratio, level topline, moved out well. BP.

JD(1)

1 Burscough's Glorfindle Secret Shadow At Kilfinan. Another with not such a masculine head, although well proportioned, lovely expression, good ear placement, nice length with a short loin, nice movement on this youngster.

ND(2)

1 Burscough's Glorfindle Secret Shadow At Kilfinan.

2 Shuttleworth's Whicheeta Celtic Keepsake. Of a larger size than first, very well presented length to height ratio good, a little tail happy on the move and did not seem to be enjoying his day.

PGD(3)

1 Miller's Feorlig Arfur Sixpence. Just 2 years of age, immaculate black jacket, body long, low and level, firm topline, well muscled quarters, has a good headpiece, nicely crested neck leading into well laid shoulders, moved extremely well deserved CC.

2 Robson's Knowles Spring Dare Devil Dan With Mitsui. Cream I have admired from the ringside but was disappointed with hands on of a larger size and heavier all round than first, had no animation, no expression with his eyes closed and was told he had been up since 2am.

3 Shuttleworth's Whicheeta Celtic Keepsake.

LD(6)

1 Ankcarns Feorlig True Destiny Of Pensford. I judged this dog almost 2 years ago and gosh, now at 4 years old, he has matured, cream with black, well fringed ears, lovely black mask, masculine head, good expression, ears well placed, good neck leading to well laid shoulders, good length of rib, short loin and level topline and in excellent hard condition, moved with drive, pleased to award him the CC and BOB.

2 Richardson's Talyot Learchus. This youngster has many similar attributes to first, however, he is at the same age as when I first judged first, so I would love to see him fully developed, super masculine head, nicely placed ears, long, low and level, firm topline and well muscled quarters, enabling him to move out well.

3 Harrison's Papplewick Knockcando For Trenson.

OD(5)

1 Barraclough's Ch Skyeotts Midnight Majesty At Wemoway (Imp). Drop ear, 7 years of age, which he wears well, lovely head, in excellent condition, so nice to see good movement on a loose lead, long and low.

2 Breeze's Ch Salina Black Shadow. What can I say that has not already been said about this boy. I judged him a couple of years back and placed him higher, but I do not think he enjoyed the venue which was very, very noisy.

3 McClean's Glorfindel Rob Roy ShCM.

MPB(2, 1)

1 Withheld. 2 Shaw's Talyot Marpessa St Stonesellars. This young lady needs to have some ring training.

PB repeat.

JB repeat.

NB (1)

1 Shaw's Pride Of Cleaveland At Stonesellars. Nicely shaped cream youngster although a little small, had a level topline, good black points, sadly lacking in coat and needs maturity.

PGB(5)

1 Woodhead's Knowlespring Dream Cream. Two years old, lovely to go over, level topline, feminine head with well placed black fringed ears, nicely crested neck, super cream jacket, all that I look for in the breed. The table seemed to distract her on the move, however, she did enough for me to see she can move. Res CC.

2 Proud's Knowlespring Dream Work To Dolphaz. On checking my catalogue I note that first and second are litter sisters. I did notice similarity. Silver has many of the aboves attributes, long, low and level, in fact, a little more length than first, but was a little happy with her tail today.

3 Neilson's Happy Go Luck At Auscenbathie.

LB(2)

1 Marshall's Gorfindal Lucretia. Black down to perfection, in super coat, nice outline, well placed ears, good head, rather more of her than second, co-operated well with the handler.

2 Green's Selea Secret Charm At Verony. A young lady that I love to see on the move, really strides out showing hind pads, a joy to watch, scores in head and expression, good ear placement, nicely crested neck and good shoulder placement, well presented.

OB(4)

1 Miller's Ch Feorlig Something Wicked. Almost 5 years old, lovely mature lady, good head and expression, well placed ears, crested neck and well laid shoulders, good rib length, short loin, well muscled quarters, moved out well, smaller size than second, as always from this kennel, well presented. CC. I note from the catalogue that she has the same sire as the dog CC winner, no wonder they complemented each other, he being the larger of the two.

2 Barraclough's Ch Su Ch Skyeotts Annesix High Sky Miracle At Wemoway. What a beautiful head this exhibit has, a true drop ear, a joy to have hands on, a melting expression, rather larger in size than first and sadly distracted on the move, long and low, good ribs and short loin.

3 Robson's Lynaire Cheese No Lady.
