Glorfindel Shadow Wings at Kilfinan ShCM SKYE JUDGE MANCHESTER 22 All the dogs were clean and well presented. With just one minor exception temperaments were excellent. It was lovely to see well filled puppy classes and this bodes well for the future. Skye Terriers have become a very cosmopolitan breed! PD (3) 1 Baker’s Kometa Rossi Madrid At Silverbriar (Imp Ger) NAF. Mature in body and attitude with good length of rib and a strong loin. Masculine skull and strong jaw. Still needs to tighten a little in shoulder. A good moving youngster. 2 Moore & Albert’s Larelkie Amazing Ledgend. Just 6 months old and looking rather babyish at this stage but he is very promising with a pleasing head, nicely arched neck and good body. Moved out well with some drive from the rear. 3 De Leie’s Verumamicus Cicero. JD (4, 2) 1 Moore & Moore’s Gacrux For Larelkie Bohemia Coco. Smart and with a jolly temperament and this was reflected in his easy flowing action. Strong skull and muzzle. Pleasing forehand with good breadth over his well placed shouders. Strong ribbing and very good topline. 2 Baker’s Kometa Rossi Madrid At Silverbriar (Imp Ger) NAF. PGD (3, 1) 1 Heath’s Lavaux’s Bahamian Chris. Beautifully presented with a strong, straight double coat. Ideal temperament. Masculine head with strong jaw and expressive eyes. Well balanced, good body and topline. Moved out well with some push from the rear. I seriously considered him for the CC. 2 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Walk the Walk. Not quite the finish of the winner. Coat coming in nicely. Decent forehand with good body and ribbing. Strong firm topline. Sound on the move. LD (1) 1 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Total Eclipse. Masculine with a strong jaw and skull. Pleasing eye. Excellent temperament. Very good rib and body with strong, well angulated and nicely muscled hindquarters. Impresses on the move. OD (2) 1 Whincup’s Ch Partisky Precious Moment. CC and BOB. Presents a most attractive overall picture with his strong masculine head, good ear set and carriage and lovely black fringing. Pleasing forehand with decent bone and good muscletone. Excellent topline and tailset. Well ribbed back with short strong loin. Moved well and presented in good form. 2 Miller & Ryan’s Ch Flanagan Energizer At Feorlig (Imp Svk). Reserve CC. Like the winner he too impressed on the move with a fluid easy action. Attractive head and expressive eyes. Good bone. Strong, well ribbed body. Good double coat presented to best advantage. PB (6, 2) 1 Miller & Ryan’s Classic Touch Of Morningsky With Feorlig (Imp Deu). Best Puppy. Feminine but with a strong skull and powerful jaw. Nicely arched neck which she uses to advantage. Decent forehand. Quite mature in body with good length of rib and perfect topline. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. A classy, good moving bitch. I was pleased to see that she was second in the Terrier Puppy Group under Dr James. Well done. 2 Whincup’s Gleanntan Look At Me At Partisky NAF (Imp USA). Not quite the maturity of the winner yet but has lots of potential. Pleasing head and expression. Very good body with ribs extending well back and good topline. Strong, nicely angulated hindquarters. Good textured coat. 3 Chadwick’s Larelkie Angel Of The Inner Hebrides. JB (4) 1 Roberts’ Tarskavaig Speed Bonny Boat To Gallondean. Feminine and a pleasing size. Attractive head, good muzzle and jaw. Strong forehand. Well ribbed back and short, strong loin. Once settled, she moved out well. 2 Chadwick’s Larelkie Angel Of The Inner Hebrides. Just 6 months old but a promising prospect. Good head, decent neck and shoulders. Firm, well ribbed body with good length of rib. Very good profile action. 3 Heath’s Skyeshire Rosie. PGB (4) 1 McLean & Weir’s Knowlespring Miss Marple. Cream with lovely black points. Has some quality, pleasing size. Good head and expressive eyes. Neck of good length and nicely arched. Well ribbed back. Good topline. Moved well both ways. 2 Burscough & Burscough’s Kilfinan Nightingail. Strong skull, feminine expression. Excellent topline, good body and ribbing. Moved out well with an easy, flowing action. 3 Roberts’ Sunabil Tywysoges O’Libanus. LB (2) 1 McLean & Weir’s Kometa Rossi Gerbera At Rhoderns. Lovely temperament; strong, straight double coat. Grand head, good length of neck, good ribbing and loin. Sound and easy on the move with a good topline and tail carriage. 2 Bancroft’s Kometa Rossi Julejka NAF. Good textured coat with lovely dark points. Expressive dark eyes, strong jaw. Not quite as mature in body as the winner but she has a good topline. Good profile action. A calm and steady showgirl. OB (7, 1) 1 Pringle’s Esgia First And Fairest. CC. Her litter brother was my CC winner at Darlington and on that occasion, she had to be content with the Reserve CC. I was pleased to have the opportunity to handle her again. Lovely head and expression. Strong jaw, nicely crested neck. Good shoulders and decent bone. Well bodied and ribbed well back with a short strong loin. In good coat with lovely dark points. Has some drive on the move and her temperament is exemplary. 2 Duncan’s Verumamicus Ambrosia Of Kyloran. Another good quality cream. Very typey with a good head, strong jaw and muzzle and expressive eyes. Well bodied with excellent topline. Very good double coat and excellent presentation. 3 Roberts’ Kilfinan Seren Gail At Sunabil. VB (1) 1 Burscough & Burscough’s Ch Glorfindel Shadow Wings At Kilfinan ShCM. Best Veteran. Typey with a powerful head, strong jaw and dark eyes. Good neck and shoulders. Excellent body with ribs extending well back and a strong loin. Impresses on the move with an easy, fluid action. All the dogs were clean and well presented. With just one minor exception temperaments were excellent. It was lovely to see well filled puppy classes and this bodes well for the future. Skye Terriers have become a very cosmopolitan breed!

PD (3)

1 Baker’s Kometa Rossi Madrid At Silverbriar (Imp Ger) NAF. Mature in body and attitude with good length of rib and a strong loin. Masculine skull and strong jaw. Still needs to tighten a little in shoulder. A good moving youngster.

1 Moore & Moore’s Gacrux For Larelkie Bohemia Coco. Smart and with a jolly temperament and this was reflected in his easy flowing action. Strong skull and muzzle. Pleasing forehand with good breadth over his well placed shouders. Strong ribbing and very good topline.

2 Baker’s Kometa Rossi Madrid At Silverbriar (Imp Ger) NAF.

PGD (3, 1)

1 Heath’s Lavaux’s Bahamian Chris. Beautifully presented with a strong, straight double coat. Ideal temperament. Masculine head with strong jaw and expressive eyes. Well balanced, good body and topline. Moved out well with some push from the rear. I seriously considered him for the CC.

2 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Walk the Walk. Not quite the finish of the winner. Coat coming in nicely. Decent forehand with good body and ribbing. Strong firm topline. Sound on the move.

LD (1)

1 Shuttleworth’s Whicheeta Total Eclipse. Masculine with a strong jaw and skull. Pleasing eye. Excellent temperament. Very good rib and body with strong, well angulated and nicely muscled hindquarters. Impresses on the move.

2 Burscough & Burscough’s Kilfinan Nightingail. Strong skull, feminine expression. Excellent topline, good body and ribbing. Moved out well with an easy, flowing action.

3 Roberts’ Sunabil Tywysoges O’Libanus.

1 McLean & Weir’s Kometa Rossi Gerbera At Rhoderns. Lovely temperament; strong, straight double coat. Grand head, good length of neck, good ribbing and loin. Sound and easy on the move with a good topline and tail carriage.
