SKYE MANCHESTER 20 Judge: Mrs F M Chapman-King BEST OF BREED : 6904 BREEZE Mrs S Ch Linum Cranberry Crush At Salena (Imp Fin) SKYE JUDGE MANCHESTER 20 Thank you to my competent stewards, and the exhibitors for bringing their dogs – giving a splendid entry of 37. PD (5,2) Three dog puppies, all at different stages of development. 1 Volkova’s Gold Monarh Elrond (Imp). Pleasing head and ear carriage, good neck and front, plenty of length and well proportioned body with ribs well back and a short loin. Shown in good coat. A touch stern high at this stage. Has plenty of time. Moved out fairly well. Good size. BP. 2 Whincup’s Partisky Precious Moment. Typical cream puppy of correct overall make and shape. Masculine strong head and muzzle, good neck, well laid shoulder, long and level and ribbed up. Overawed on the day and would not settle to show or stack. Has plenty of time. 3 Heath’s Lavaux’s Bahamian Chris. Immature, not as ready as first and second. Not the shoulder placement of first and second, fair length of body. Shown in good coat and moved out soundly. JD (2) 1 Miller & Ryan’s Flanagan Energizer At Feorlig (Imp). Attractive masculine head and pleasing eye and expression. Enough neck and good layback, good length body and ribbed up. Of good size and good quarters. Held his topline on the move. Coat colour to settle, texture correct and well presented. Showed and moved well in his class. Lost confidence in the challenge. 2 Volkova’s Gold Monarh Elrond (Imp). PGD (4, 1) 1 Sanderson & Sanderson’s Esgia Highland Laddie. Dark grey shown in good coat and order. Ok in head, pleasing neck and front, tight elbows, good sized dog, long bodied and correct ribbing, strong quarters. Moved out well. Preferred stronger head of second. 2 Macdonald-Cross, Stephenson & Marshall’s Flanagan Show Stopper Glorfindel (Imp). Strong, balanced, masculine head and strong jaw and dark expressive eyes, well fringed ears. Good neck and shoulder, plenty of bone, good feet. Strong quarters and moved soundly. Coat not at its best today and preferred the body length of first. Not making the most of himself. 3 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Jackson. Correct proportions, long bodied and moved out fairly well. Coat texture good. Not as strong in head as second, nor as good in front. LD (4, 3) 1 Pringle’s Esgia The Exciseman. Typical and good size cream dog, masculine head well fringed ears, could be better set. Fair length neck, ribs well back, good quarters, fair length body proportions, moved out well.
