SKYE MANCHESTER 19 Judge: Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews BEST OF BREED : 4844 CURTIS Mrs J Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill SKYE JUDGE MANCHESTER 19 PD (2) 1 Mclean & Weir's Knowlespring Jackpot At Rhoderns Res CC Best Puppy, Super baby, sound free and active moving, Loved his head and black points. Strong muzzle, OK in front, level firm back, just needs to spring his ribs a little more as he grows up. Really well made quarters and rear movement too is impressive. 2 Mckenzie & Scott's Antaris Goldenskye Hadid Al Borcho (Imp) Drop eared, nice head properties. Rather elbowy at present, & has a very slight limp which improved as the class progressed. Well bodied, OK behind. Needs putting away for a while I reckon. 1 Herbert's Tweedsmuir Stargazer Heavily boned, very well groomed and presented. Liked his head and eye placement, and bright expression. One ear a touch soft, and front could be better. Good ribbing, nice over croup, and he has a powerful rear which he uses well. Moved out with a good stride in profile, but too close coming towards. 1 Breeze's Linum Cranberry Crush At Salena (Imp Fin) CC. Super dog to go over, immaculate front, forelegs fitting neatly into crook. Not overlong in back and keeps a steady outline moving. Lovely head strong muzzle, which is correctly slighter shorter than backskull. Super sound all ways and has effortless looking movement. 2 Curtis' Ch Brakemill Barnum Sh.CM. Beautifully presented and also very attractive in head. All male throughout. His front is not up to winners, and he is slacker in topline, which tends to bounce in profile movement. Good hindquarters and a terrific coat. 1 Parker's Glorfindel Deacon Brodie Sh.CM. Grand old boy, with gleaming teeth, shows happily, and has a wonderful body. Enough bend of stifles, and neat hocks. A touch elbowy, and he does have a kink in his tail. Enjoying himself today! 1 Moore's Sagasky Hummingbird At High Road Of Larelkie. Neat impressive front, gorgeous head, eyes and ears set well. Fringing to come of course. Pretty strong topline for age, good length to height proportions, and not overlong in back. She moved well all round too. 2 Herbert's Finnsky Yves Lovely black, again with a beautiful head, eyes and expression. Very strong in front, but still can tighten here a little more. Well boned, OK in body for age, and sound quarters. Promising. 3 Gracie's Elnath Bohemia Coko 1 Curtis' Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill CC BOB. A top quality bitch full of promise for the future of the breed. Her coat will end up a true silver, but is very much inbetween growth at the moment. Still I could not overlook her construction, flowing movement and sheer beauty in outline on the move, and awarded her the CC. Maybe controversial because of her coat colours, but I truly believe she is a really cracking bitch with so much to offer the breed. Her front, bone and feet are what I would expect in a top class dog, The rest of her body is ideal for age. 2 Bailey's Celticbridge Ocean Belle at Marjayn Has a harder coat than winner but not her exquisite front. Excellent body and quarters, but still needs more width going away. Lovely head and expression, and she too shows very well. 1 Dunlop's Kometa Rossi Cinderella(imp) (Imp) Smart, well bodied up, and moving truly al round. Ears set a wee bit low on skull, strong muzzle, good eye placement which are fairly close set, and full of expression. Pigment black, fair front, super ribbing, and hard topline. Coat well presented too. 1 Parker's weedsmuir Feebee Mine Sh.CM Very nice bitch, with a super front and lay of shoulder. Withers set high, nicely boned legs and large tight feet. Excellent topline and underline flows into flanks smoothly. Going too close in rear going away, but keeping a perfect topline in profile. 1 Heath's Perrylands Hello Again. Res CC A very good quality, honest type, well pigmented and with good fringing on her ears where she beat second. Fair front, excellent body and ribbing, firm backline, Ok in her quarters and has a good quality hard coat. Keeps her outline on the go. 2 Miller, & Ryan's Feorlig Up Up And Away Rather sagging in topline which was probably due to her pulling back on the lead. Not her day today, and hope she does better in future. When she puts on her "brakes" she is difficult to assess. |
