Skye Terriers

PD (2)

1 Tweedsmuir Stargazer, a well grown youngster with a long clean head, correct mouth, well placed ears & strong solid bone. He kept his topline reasonably well, coat of good texture & coming along for length;

2 Knowlespring Drummer Boy, a cream youngster who gave his handler a difficult time. He is good to go over with a quality head & eye, developing a good body but was not at all at one with his handler.

JD

1 T Stargazer.

PGD (2)

1 Juger Edelweiss Mickey Mouse is Madaza, a long headed dog which is clean, deep set eye, well placed drop ears, heavy boned front, maintains a level topline, good ribs & coupling, well set tail, his coat was of sufficient length & was well presented. Must have a good future;

2 Juger Edelweiss Me Myself And I at Esgia, litter brother to the winner & similar for type & size, perhaps not quite his length of body, but similar remarks apply, he too had a good coat of decent length & texture.

LD (2)

1 Esgia Murrays Olympic Gold, a black with a long clean head, large bone & quite good in front construction, very low to the ground with big ribs, would prefer better tail carriage on the move but he is sound & covers plenty of ground. Lovely coat texture;

2 Glorfindel Shadow Boxer, I thought this dog had a quality head, nice eye, well placed ears, correct mouth, strong body giving a good topline, I thought the first scored in overall length but a pleasing dog to go over.

OD (5,1a)

1 Ch Brakemill Barnum, a cream with the most level & firmest of toplines, long clean head, dark eye, correct mouth, well placed ears with ample fringing, lovely neck & shoulders, heavy bone & a well ribbed body, he presented a pleasing picture both standing & on the move. CC & BOB & pleased to see him shortlisted in the group;

2 Salena The Magnificent One, a long headed dog with good neck & shoulders, he has a well boned front & strong quarters, his coat texture was good & the coat of sufficient length. Both standing & moving he did not have the firm topline of the winner but a worthy RCC winner;

3 Glorfindel Secret Shadow at Kilfinan.

VD (1)

1 Knowlespring Jail House Rock for Trenson, this dog was in terrific form for his age, his coat condition & movement is a credit to his owner. At 9½ he retains a long clean head, very good front & bone, firm topline & looked a picture.

PB (1)

1 Knowlespring Candy Cane, sister to the dog puppy & very similar to him, but a more steady mover than him. She is also a cream with black points & has a long head with a good body for her age. Super coated & should have a bright future.

JB (1)

1 Esgias Sula Froya, a silver of very nice type, she has a balanced head with good eyes & well placed ears, heavy bone & well developed ribs, rather boisterous on the move so was not as precise as she could have been.

PGB (5,2)

1 Glorfindel Shadow Wings at Kilfinan, this bitch has a balanced head with well shaped eyes giving a typical expression, well placed shoulders giving a flowing run in. Her front is well boned & was one of the straightest on view today, good topline & well set & carried tail. Her movement was flowing & ground covering. Pleased to award her the RCC in good competition;

2 Naop Charoit Madlen Mardzheri at Eisga, this bitch has a balanced head, good eye & correct mouth, heavy bone & a deep well ribbed body, perhaps not quite the length of the winner but a well constructed bitch;

3 Lavauxs Dancing Queen.

LB (2,1)

1 Bunnybois Inspiration, a cream with a well balanced head & good eye, well placed ears with sufficient fringing, heavy boned front with a good topline standing. In really good form but she did not help her handler on the move, pulling to one side which had a negative effect on her topline & rear action. I feel sure she can move better than she did today.

OB (3,1)

1 Ch Brakemill Briar Rose, a very well balanced bitch throughout & of good type. She has a quality head with dark eyes & well placed ears. Both standing & on the move she keeps a level topline & her tail carriage is correct. Her coat had been well prepared & was of a good length. CC;

2 Salena Silver Sapphire, another very pleasing bitch to go over, she has length & balance & presents a pleasing picture strong quarters giving enough width behind. Not quite the firmness in topline of the winner.

VB (1)

1 Ch Azrakhan Capercaillie, at 10 years old this veteran was in terrific form, she has retained her clean head, good eye & correct mouth, strong quarters & a flowing neckline. Very well balanced throughout & put in a good performance on the move.
