SKYE LKA 13 Judge: Mr Paul Eardley (Sherex) BEST OF BREED : 6621 BREEZE Mrs S Ch Salena The Special One SKYE JUDGE LKA 13 Skye Terriers MPD (3) 1 Krcal’s Skyeomania’s Mozart, beautiful cream baby, plenty of substance but balanced with it, has a great outline, really good reach of neck which he used & moved really well back & front. Good head developing well with decent skull. Very promising indeed. BP; 2 King’s Fun And Games at Celticbridge, another promising cream boy & not dissimilar in type to the winner. The sort I like as he had some substance but not in any way coarse. Not quite the lovely head of the winner & front will need to tighten; 3 McLeod’s Esgia Murray’s Olympic Gold. PD (1) 1 S Mozart. JD (2) 1 Marshall’s Emoticon Kiaora, all these creams, another one. Won the class on maturity, plenty big enough & coat still needs to settle but lovely reach of neck which he used & used the ring well covering plenty of ground. Good head & lovely black ear fringes. Will be interested to see him as he matures; 3 S Mozart. PGD (1) A. LD (5,2) 1 Curtis’ Brakemill Barnum, striking cream boy, great substance & just starting to come in to his prime, beautiful head & dripping with ear fringes. Moves effortlessly. Could use his neck a touch more to complete the picture but is certainly one for the upper house. RCC; 2 Burscough’s Glorfindel Secret Shadow at Kilfinan, good outline & used his neck better than first giving him a good outline, not quite the beautiful head piece of the winner but is a good sort; 3 Parker’s Glorfindel Deacon Brodie. OD (3) 1 Breeze’s Ch Salena The Special One, immaculate boy who is so well handled, presents a great outline as soon as he comes in to the ring & great use of his neck, lovely to go over, no loose elbows on this boy & everything fits together, great headpiece, good topline & nicely angulated in rear finished off with a good tail carriage. Dripping with coat which is the correct texture & dead straight. He is certainly the one to beat. CC & BOB; 2 Richardson & Richardson’s Talyot Learchus, quality masculine boy & is unlucky to be up against first as he is of clear champion quality, striking in outline, lovely neck & was handled to get the very best out of him. Another with a lovely straight coat & well presented. Just didn’t cover the ground as well as 1st; 3 Harrison’s Ch Papplewick Knockando for Trenson. VD (2,1) 1 Ankcorn’s Feorlig True Destiny of Pensford, 7 year cream boy, nice type, clear cream coat which was straight & good tail carriage. GCD (0). MPB (1) 1 McLeod’s Esgia Andi’s Wimbledon Dream, just 6 months & full of the joys of spring. So endearing. I was particularly impressed with her movement as she really drove behind showing a clean pair of pads & is already good in front. PB (0). JB (5,1) This class brought a smile to my face as they were all so ready to play. 1 Richardson & Richardson’s Talyot Nalani, took my eye when she entered the ring, lovely cream youngster, super outline, moved really well, good textured straight coat & was the steadiest in the class. Should do really well I would think; 2 Richardson & Richardson’s Talyot Nyree, litter sister to 1st & has a super outline. Although she is a handful her handler showed her outline off really well. Had she been more settled could have turned the tables. Equally promising; 3 Richardson & Richardson’s Talyot Nynniaw. PGB (1) A. LB (2,1) 1 Curtis’ Brakemill Briar Rose, young girl coming in to her own, lovely type, good reach of neck, shows well & is clearly on the way up. Good tail carriage. RCC behind a more mature girl. OB (5,1) 1 Woodhead’s Ch Knowlespring Mistletoe, mature girl, just my type, cracking headpiece with good length & strength of muzzle, lovely ear fringes, nice outline, level topline., good straight coat, moves well. For perfection could perhaps be a shade lower but I thought her well deserving of the CC & made a super pair with the dog CC winner; 2 Breeze’s Salena Certain Something, giving a bit away in age & maturity, lovely outline, good reach of neck which she uses, moves well. Very promising; 3 Barraclough’s Ch & Su Ch Skyeotts Amnesix High Skye Miracle at W. VB & GCB (0). PAUL EARDLEY |
