SKYE JUDGE DRIFFIELD 18

It was a pleasure to judge this lovely breed, not a huge entry but the quality more than made up for it. I was impressed with the excellent presentation and also the shoulders on every exhibit.

Open Dog (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CURTIS Mrs J - Ch Brakemill Barnum Sh.CM : A excellent example of the breed, he has a super outline and is masculine throughout, strong head and muzzle, good ear set and fringing, good neck and broad shoulders and has a strong level topline both standing and on the move. Front straight and true with well muscled hind quarters which gave him plenty of drive. In excellent coat and condition. Best dog and BOB.

2nd: PARKER Mrs C A - Glorfindel Deacon Brodie Sh.CM : I couldn’t believe he is seven years old. He’s good for size, proportion and balance, very good head, nice dark eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, deep chest and straight front, moved really well and enjoying the day just carrying his tail a touch. Res best dog.

Puppy Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: CURTIS Mrs J - Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill : What a super puppy ! Very happy go lucky for such a young puppy and took it all in her excellent stride. Good for size, loved her head, eye and ear set, straight front and enough depth of chest at this age, strong and level topline which she held on the move, good rear drive. One to watch ! Best puppy and res Best bitch.

Post Graduate Bitch (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: PARKER Mrs C A - Tweedsmuir Feebee Mine : Lovely feminine young lady of 22months, very happy and confident, very good head proportions, dark eye, good length and depth of muzzle, good ear carriage, good in front and feet, well laid shoulder and level topline, moved well.

Open Bitch (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: ZVEZDINA Miss A - Ch Juger Edelweiss Mary Poppins (Imp) Sh.CM : A 4 year old bitch of quality, very showy and confident. Up to size but retaining her femininity, in excellent proportion. Super head and eye, well set ears with very good feathering, excellent dentition, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good length of back with nice short loin, just flowed around the ring. Best bitch.
