SKYE JUDGE DARLINGTON 17

Darlington Championship Show (15th Sept. 2017)

Skye Terriers

I was delighted to accept this judging appointment at Darlington. Skye’s were my first show breed. 1975! The dogs were very even. Not much to choose between them in terms of quality. There have been some changes over the years though: slightly bigger and coats softer than they used to be perhaps. I hope top lines will not be sacrificed for greater length. They can be too long. It was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion however. Sporting handlers and my two stewards who kept things running smoothly.
