SKYE DARLINGTON 11 Judge: Mr R Cruden SKYE JUDGE DARLINGTON 11 Skye Terriers A small but of super quality entry & all with superb temperaments, beautifully presented bar none & a credit to their owners. V (1) 1 Bailey & Hansell’s Ch Silisia Firenze, 8½ years real quality dark silver bitch, dark eyed, strong muzzled & immaculate dentition, strong arch of neck, good fore & no weakness in topline, powerful drive on strong rearquarters & in beautiful coat & condition, movement belied her years. Only outshone by the much younger dog on his showmanship. BB, BV. OD (4) Superb class, all with different qualities & a pleasure to judge. 1 Breeze’s Ch Salena Black Shadow, gleaming black of the size I prefer, long, low & level, well set ears, dark keen expression & fabulous teeth, strong arch & length of neck giving that outline that I look for, sound brisk movement & a real show off, beautifully presented. BOB, G1; 2 Samuel’s Ch Skyelander Wee Man of Storr, silver masculine boy of great length, drop eared, powerful muzzle, good teeth & keen but friendly eyed, lovely outline to behold & even though a tad taller than I prefer, he carries it with his length & overall balance. Little hesitant on the move which ultimately cost him. RBD; 3 Woodhead’s Ch Knowlespring Sunday Best. PB (1) 1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Mistletoe, delightful 8 months happy baby enjoying her day out, keen dark eyes, good breadth & length of muzzle & lovely teeth, good fore, level topline & pleasing ratios & balance, moved pretty well for a youngster & a credit to owner. BP. OB (1) 1 Samuel’s Skyelander Midnight Dream, silver, correct earset, strong muzzle & good teeth, decent length of neck, long level topline & overall pretty well balanced. Movement let her down as she wanted to sniff every blade of grass on the way round. RBB. ROGER CRUDEN |
