SKYE DARLINGTON 10 Judge: Mr Frederick J Gadd SKYE JUDGE DARLINGTON 10 Skye Terriers I had no real complaints except perhaps that one or two fine exhibits went well beyond the Standard. Movement was in general quite good with just one or two not carrying themselves to their best spoiling their outline. Condition was exceptional though I would have liked the coat to be a little harsher. What impressed me greatly was eye colour, dark as it could possibly be. Teeth were exceptional, scissor bites set square to the jaw & clean, a real credit to handlers & owners. V (0). PD (1) 1 Proud’s Gleanntan Gulliver’s Travels to Dolphaz, super dog of real quality, well constructed head, powerful muzzle, clean scissor bite, excellent front, beautiful size, good coat. Furnishing still coming. Tremendous hindquarters, enough stifle, moved exceptionally. BP. JD (1) 1 Robson’s Knowlespring Daredevil Dan with Mitsuim, fine young fellow with right dimension to head, long & strong, powerful neck, muscles coming along as to be expected, lovely topline, enough stifle, powerful limbs, moving gracefully. PGD (1) 1 Harrison’s Papplewick Knockando for Trensonat, one to look out for, superb head & strong muzzle, excellent front & profile, powerful hindquarters, moved with promise. RBD. OD (6) 1 Breeze’s Ch Salena Black Shadow, fine fellow, had to be right up on his toes as was chased by several particularly good exhibits, masculine head, powerful muzzle & foreface, excellent neck, good lay of shoulders, tremendous profile as moved with purpose being driven by powerful hindquarters, ample stifle. BD & BOB; 2 Harrison’s Knowelspring Jail House Rock for Trenson, another from the top shelf, excellent head, long & strong, fine neck & front, good lay of shoulders, level topline, powerful quarters, moving with drive; 3 Curtis’ Gumshoe Bugsy Malone of Brakemill. PB (0). JB (1) 1 Woodhead’s Knowlespring Dream Cream, youngster full of promise. Still developing physically. Powerful muzzle, great neck, well laid shoulders, tremendous profile, excellent quarters, moving with pride. PGB (3,1a) 1 Samuel’s Skyelander Midnight Dream, superbly presented, super head of correct proportions, excellent neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, ample hindquarters. Would like little more length. Moving smoothly with drive. RBB; 2 Viles’ Juniper Girl, another I particularly liked, excellent head, well within perameters of Standard, fine profile, ample stifle, strong loins & quarters, moving like lady she thinks she is. OB (1) 1 Robson’s Lynaire Shes No Lady with Mitsui, really like attitude, full of confidence, well furnished, fine head long but not out of proportion, powerful muzzle, strong neck, well laid shoulders, excellent profile, ample stifle, strong quarters, flowing movement with drive.
