SKYE CRUFTS 23 Judge: Mr S Plane PD (2) 1 Riskerytree Ravenwing (Herbert). Two immature dog pups who really do need more time, the winner a black has good bone but little body at the moment, decent length of head. 2 Riskerytree Dave’s Allan (Herbert). A cream who like his brother needs time and experience. 1 Rhoderns Haggis at Marjayn (Bailey). A cream who is well grown with a good outline, balanced head, dark eye correct mouth. Good bone and substance, well placed ears with fringing 2 Riskerytree Ravenwing (Herbert). 3 Riskerytree Dave’s Allan (Herbert) 1 Verumamicus Cheops (Solvay). A cream who comes across as being well balanced clean skull correct mouth dark eye, heavy boned front, good topline, showed steadily. 2 Madaza Box of Frogs (Lyne). Drop eared cream who needs more time as he is not as finished as the winner. He does handle well, so promising. 1 Skyewalker’s Supertzar (Toft Bergstrøm). A stylish cream of good size, balanced head, dark eye correct mouth lovely fringes. Heavy boned front, level topline and well angulated quarters . 2 Lavauxs Bahamian Chris (Heath). Black/ silver dog of nice type, balanced with an good head, well placed ears. Maintains his topline. 3 Esgia Highland Laddie (Sanderson). This dog has a good outline but not giving of his best on the move, a pity 1 Ch Flanagan Energizer at Feorlig (Imp Svk) (Ryan). This dog is a cream and is so well balanced without exaggeration, lovely head and eye. Well boned front, well placed ears with ample fringes, keeps his topline so well and did not disappoint on the move CC and BOB. 2 Skyewalker’s Razzle Dazzle (Toft Bergstrøm). A touch bigger black dog, well placed shoulders, enough neck to give a good outline, pleasing head and eye, well boned front, excellent coat texture, well presented RCC. 3 Int Ch Finnsky Xtempore (Ahponen). Perhaps the longest in body of the three placed dogs, gave a good account of himself, in super coat and condition. 1 Finnsky Sunrise (Freiin Von Fritsch). A black with one of the best front construction here, good bone and substance, long enough with a level topline 1 Silverbriar Imogen of Petitpaws (Cox). Still immature at the moment, but built on the right lines, well balanced with enough bone and a free mover 1 Black Cuillins Catriona (Imp Deu) (Grainger). A promising cream of good type, lovely head and eye correct mouth well fringed ears. Level topline, heavy front, well carried tail. 2 Black Cuillins Calatrava (Freiin Von Fritsch). Another bitch with a very good front, well boned and straight, quite long but I felt she needed time to mature. 3 Rhoderns Helena (Heale). A well constructed cream with dark points 1 Black Cuillins Catriona (Imp Deu) (Grainger) 2 Borcho Skoosh of Struanmore (O’Rourke) A cream with black points, clean head and well placed shoulders, looked a picture standing, but topline not as positive on the move 3 Brakemill Midsummer Dream (Curtis). A nice bitch with a pleasing outlne, not as finished as those above 1 Gleanntan Look at Me at Partisky (Imp Usa) (Whincup). A black and silver bitch of lovely type with the most steady topline. Quite good in front, enough bone, mature in body, can be proud of her tail on the move. 2 Classic Touch of Morningsky with Feorlig (Imp Deu) JW (Ryan). Immaculately presented bitch of super type, impressive when free standing. Lovely neck and shoulder, not quite as positive in topline on the move. 3 Kometa Rossi Jenna (Imp Deu) (Bancroft). A handy sized bitch of decent type, lovely neck and shoulder, good head and eye 1 Ch Verumamicus Aurora of Brakemill JW (Curtis). An old favourite of mine, a cream who can still hold her own in this company, quality and substance, gave a good account of herself on the move, lovely coat well presented CC. 2 Skyewalker’s Quintessential (Bergstrøm). Well balanced bitch lovely type, provided stiff competition and deserved the RCC. 3 Finnsky Diana Fi/es (Utter & Mikkola). A black with a good front, well balanced and carrying plenty of coat.
