PD (2) 1. Bailey. Rhoderns Haggis at Marjayn. 9 months cream, and as a Skye should be, long, low and level with good development in head having dark eyes, good bite and strong jaws. Full of confidence moving around the ring. 2. Mclean & Weir Rhoderns Hamish Brother to 1, dark silver and nothing really to choose between the two. He lost out today purely on his brother saying look at me. PGD (1) 1. Shuttleworth Whicheeta Walk the Walk. 3 year dark silver, pleasing head, dark eyed with good size teeth. Level topline held at all times. Moves with good drive but did tend to start hopping about and spoil himself a bit. LD (1) 1. Shuttleworth Whicheeta Total Eclipse Another dark silver with good strength in head and jaw, would have preferred a bit more ear fringing. Strong drive from rear gave solid movement but a little high on rear in profile. OD (3) 1. Macdonald-Cross, Flanagan Showstopper Glorfindel (Imp Svn) Stephenson & Marshall). Good male head, lovely teeth set in a strong jaw, feeling of power in his well-arched neck and dead level topline. Really powered around the ring and this with a topline that never moved was the deciding factors in this class. CC 2. (Mclean & Weir Knowlespring Jackpot at Rhoderns. Really nice cream boy with super black ear fringes to compliment good male head. Also presented a lovely profile but not the drive or purpose of 1 today. RCC. 3. Pringle. Esgia The Exciseman ShCEx. PB (1) 1. Curtis Brakemill Midsummer Dream 10 month ever so pretty little girl, still a long way to go but already has a super coat and a certain ring presence. Presents a lovely profile, just needs her neck which is of good length to fill out and has ever so sound movement. BP JB (4,2) 1.Roberts Tarskavaig Speed Bonny Boat to Gallondean. Very promising youngster showing lovely feminine head, good bite and dark eyed. Strength showing in neck leading to level topline. Good shape to ribcage and length of loin. Lovely little mover. 2 Hamilton. Headscrook Heads or Tails. Not long out of puppy this one and giving away a fair bit in maturity. Nice in head and shoulders but not so clean feeling through the body but moved well. YB (2) 1. Roberts. Sunabil Tywysoges O Libanus. Dark silver and another promising young lady, again a fair bit to go bit has the attributes to have a promising career. Enjoyed seeing this one against the junior in the run off. 2. O’Rourke Borcho Skoosh. Young cream girl with good length and level topline. Some way to go in coat and maturity to get on a level with 1. NB (2,1) 1 Hamilton Headscrook Heads or Tails. PGB (2) 1. McLean & Weir. Knowlespring Miss Marple. 2 year cream, nice head with complimentary black ears, well-fringed. Long and low with good topline and moved reasonably well. 2. O’Rourke Borcho Skoosh. LB (1) 1 O’Rourke Esgia Glen Sc Pringle otia of Borcho. 4 year old, dark ears on good head. Well up to size and bit more rear angulation would have helped with topline and overall profile, nontheless still pleasing. OB (6) 1. Esgia First and Fairest. Beautiful! Couldn’t take my eyes off this girl, everything shouted quality Skye. All the attributes one would expect and she also excelled in movement. Her profile, and just a fraction more je ne sais quoi today over 2 was what it took to take the CC and BOB. 2. Curtis Ch Verumamicus Aurora of Brakemill JW. Another stunner and stating the obvious could swap places with 1 any day, just not today. As 1 beautifully presented. RCC 3. McLean & Weir. Kometa Present Iz Psov Grada. I learned afterwards that the dog was made up with that CC and coupled with the stunning open bitches, made my farewell judging appointment in Skyes one to cherish and remember.
