SKYE JUDGE BORDER UNION 13

Skye Terriers

This was not my entry, it was Harry Newton's who was taken ill a couple of weeks before the show. Hopefully Harry is up & running soon, perhaps not running?

I also concurred with the judge at SKC in regards to big, white teeth, where have they all gone?

PD (1)

1 Marshall's Emoticon Kiaora, 11 months, very substantial looking cream boy, very good strong head, dark eye with strong teeth, good reach of neck that flows into level topline, presented & moved very well. RCC & BP, should have a very bright future.

JD (1)

1 Curtis' Brakemill Barnum, very eyecatching cream, very good head & dark eye, correct dentition, very godo underjaw, nicely ribbed, level topline, very good movement, in very good coat, pressented to win. I think in another 12 months this dog & the puppy dog will both be chasing for top honours.

PGD (2)

1 Parker's Glorfindel Deacon Brodie, dark silver, very honest dog with lots to like, masculine looks, dark eye, nice big white teeth, very good topline & coat, moved very well outside.

LD (1)

1 Shuttleworth's Whicheeta Celtic Keepsake, dark silver, good expression, all male, good head & eye, good underjaw, great arched neck with very good topline, very nice coat, well presented, moved very well.

OD (4)

1 Ch Glorfindel Black Magic, fabulous black boy as in the name, most beautiful masculine head that was well balanced in correct proportions giving him such a handsome expression, combining with correct dentition, very good topline, very well presented coat, excellent rearquarters that drove him to conquer all before him. CC & BOB;

2 Breeze's Ch Salena The Special One, another quality dog you need to go over, I found him rather disappointing with his feminine head & bitchy level bite. The presentation was an object lesson itself. The sooner we go back to fit for function & not a cardboard cutout the better;

3 White's Talyot Menelaus at Gumshoe.

JB (1)

1 Curtis' Brakemill Briar Rose, pale silver, loved this very feminine bitch, her correct balance & wonderful shape drew her to me, there was nothing I could have changed to make her better for her age, very good head, dark eye with big white teeth, very long low & level, her coat was in tip top order, a bitch anyone would be proud to own. RCC.

PGB (1)

1 Proud's Salena Midnight Diamond for Dolphaz, dark silver feminine bitch, very long, low & level, good reach of neck, very well presented coat, moved very well.

LB (2)

1 Viles' Juniper Girl, dark silver with a slight tan, maybe too many walks on the beach in the sun. Feminine head with lovely expression, good eye & lean teeth, well presented, moved well. It was good to see both handler & exhibit back in the ring.

OB (2)

1 Marshall's Bhuidh Sojouners Truth at Glorfindel, very impressive feminine silver bitch, the thing I liked about her was her totally correct proportions, very pleasing head & eye, strong jaw, dead level topline, very long low & level, very well presented coat, moved very well round the maypole. CC, her third;

2 Juniper Girl.
