Skye Terriers
What a fantastic show and venue. Thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge, and thank you to the exhibitors for bringing along some excellent Skye’s which were all in tip top condition and a joy to go over. It was a shame we were caught right in the middle of the thunder storm which reduced the ring to half size for most of the classes. The dogs stood up to it really well.

1ST Rhoderns Hamish (Mr Rod & Mr J Mclean & Weir) – Has an excellent outline and is super condition, liked his head shape which is of good length and very strong, well set ears with good fringing, has big strong teeth, a mature male and well off for bone, has good shoulder placement and a level topline, moved really well. RD CC
2ND Verumamicus Cicero with Castrumskye (Mrs J De Leie) – A strongly made 3 year old, has a lovely head, a really dark eye, well set ears with excellent fringing and black points, good length of neck, long back which was firm and straight as a die and held true on the move, he was just moving a touch wide at the elbows when coming towards.

1ST Ch Flanagan Energizer at Feorlig (Imp Svk) (Imp Svk) (Mrs K F Ryan) -- An impressive, mature male, of correct proportions who is a real showman, easy to go over and typical of the breed, has a powerful head, dark eye and excellent teeth, a good length of neck having a slight crest into well angulated shoulders, long back with a firm and straight topline which was held on the move, has a good depth of rib, in super coat and condition, he glides around the ring with lovely drive from the rear. Pleased to award him the CC and BOB he was also in the final cut in a strong Terrier group.
2ND Kometa Rossi Nazareth at Rhoderns (Imp Deu) (Mr Rod & Mr J Mclean & Weir) – A super quality cream in excellent coat and condition, although he doesn’t quite have the strength throughout as 1, he is easy to go over, has a good width of head and well set ears with lovely black points, has excellent lay of shoulder, good length of back and a short loin, moves freely and covers the ground well.

1ST Rhoderns Ananke (Mr Rod & Mr James Mclean & Weir) - A lovely quality puppy, has a good length of head, dark eye and an excellent set of teeth, has well laid back shoulders which are close to her body, level topline held well when moving in profile, she moved really well for a puppy. Best puppy
2ND Rhoderns Ailsa Bay avec Marjayn (Miss M Bailey) – Litter sister to 1, and showing the same high quality and very much the same comments as above, has a lovely head, her ears are a touch wider apart than her sister, super alert and showing well, she is very feminine and not quite as advanced as her front needs to tighten up a touch, lovely topline and rear assembly moved well.

1ST Coriend The Adjudicator by Partisky (Mr Simon & Mrs Sue Whincup & Mccourt) - This youngster is is quite a show stopper and one to watch, everything starting to come together now, she has super ring presence and is presented in excellent condition, lovely head shape and length, well placed ears, has a god length of neck, super front assembly, firm topline with short loin, coat coming through nicely. Moved true in all directions. Res CC
2ND Silverbriar Imogen of Petitpaws (Miss V Cox) – Another lovely feminine bitch of good proportions, super alert, and using her ears, dark eye and good dentition, enough length of neck with slight crest into well laid shoulders, long and level topline on the move, although was hunching up slightly at times when standing. Moved well.,
3RD Tarskavaig Speed Bonny Boat at Sunabil (Ms M T Roberts)

1ST Brakemill Midsummer Dream JW (Mrs J A Curtis) – Really good for type and she fit’s the standard well, has a lovely profile when standing, has a balanced and feminine head, dark eye and well placed ears, good length of neck into well placed shoulders with elbows tucked in, good topline with short loin, moved well.

1ST Ch Verumamicus Aurora of Brakemill JW OSW (Mrs J A Curtis) - What a stunning bitch, now fully mature and on tip top form, she is up to size, well balanced and all in proportion, she has an outstanding head, strong and feminine, well set ears and super fringing, well placed shoulders with elbows tucked in, strong, long and level topline which together with her tail were held perfectly on the move, she moves effortlessly around the ring, pleased to award her the CC
2ND Sunabil Tywysoges O Libanus (ai) (Ms M T Roberts) - A lovely bitch of good size and shape, beautiful head of good length, powerful jaw with excellent teeth, good length of neck with correct crest into well laid shoulders, has a good length of back with short and strong loin, in good muscular condition, she moved with both reach and drive around the ring.
