SKYE BATH 19 Judge: Mr D W Shields BEST OF BREED : 7457 CURTIS Mrs J Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill JW SKYE JUDGE BATH 19 MPD (1) 1 Miller & Ryan’s Flanagan Energizer At Feorlig ( Imp). Very promising young man with such character and confidence for his age. Best of heads with a lovely eye and expression. Excellent front assembly with good depth of chest. Pleasing body and rib, well developed hindquarters which are nicely angulated. Very sound on the move, BP. PGD (1) 1 Pringle’s Esgia The Exciseman. Well made throughout with lovely bone and substance. Typical in head with excellent strength, well set ears and a good dark eye. Pleasing reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Firm level topline that he holds on the move. Well rounded quarters and presented in the best of coats. Moved well. OD (3) Three dogs of different stamps and styles but much to like about all three. 1 McLeod’s Juger Edelweiss Me Myself And I At Esgia (Imp). Drop-eared dog who fits the standard well, long, low and level combining excellent strength throughout with those elegant and dignified characteristics the standard asks for. Lovely head and expression, strong legs and feet, firm body and powerful hindquarters. Positive on the move, Res CC. 2 Kendrick’s Ch Frisco Kiaora At Jeraro (Imp). Another very well made one of good breed type. Pleasing shape and presents a very balanced outlook. Typical in head with good strength of muzzle and a lovely dark eye. Excellent depth of chest, pleasing topline and tailset and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly. 3 Breeze’s Linum Cranberry Crush at Salena (Imp). VD (2) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Barnum ShCM. Favourite of mine who I have given a Group placing to in the past and he could not be denied top honours today in the breed. So well balanced throughout and as always put down to perfection on the day. Masculine head with the best of expressions. Pleasing front standing on good legs and feet. Firm body, good length of rib, strong short loin and the best of hindquarters. Sound effortless mover, CC. 2 Parker’s Glorfindel Deacon Brodie ShCM. Very pleasing sort of good size and presents a very typical outlook both stood and on the move. Liked his head and eye. Strong muzzle and well set ears. Good bone and substance, level topline that he held on the move and well made quarters. Moved well but not the positive action of the winner. MPB (1) 1 Baker’s Annabell From Waringham Castle To Silverbriar ( Imp). Just six months and a real baby, but took everything in her stride on the day. Lovely head, good strength and a very pleasing eye and expression. Clean front, excellent depth of chest for her age, good length of body and a well set tail. Just needs to strengthen in hindquarters but has time on her side. Very sound on the move. JB (2) 1 Curtis’ Verumamicus Aurora Of Brakemill JW. Stunning youngster with such character and attitude. Excellent strength and substance throughout but still keeps a very feminine outlook and a typical appearance. Super head, dark eye and the best of expressions. Scores in front assembly. Long, low and level as the standard asks for. Pleasing hindquarters and a good tailset and carriage. Just flows round the ring on the move on a free and effortless stride, CC & BOB. 2 McLeod’s Esgia Lone Wolf. Well made bitch who fits the standard well and unfortunate to come up against the winner on the day. Excellent strength throughout. Pleasing head, strong muzzle, well set ears and a good eye. Well ribbed, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. Once she got into her stride moved well. PGB (1) 1 Pringle’s Esgia First And Fairest. Another top class bitch not long out of Junior. So well made and presented to perfection in the best of coats. Excellent shape and so well balanced throughout. Lovely head, good strength and a typical expression. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Firm body, good length and strong muscular hindquarters that she uses to advantage on the move, Res CC. LB (1) 1 Parker’s Tweedsmuir Feebee Mine ShCM. Another who stood alone but was a very worthy winner. Good size and so well made throughout. Best of heads with a good eye and expression. Pleasing front standing on good legs and feet. Good length of rib, short firm loin and well made quarters. Very sound on the move both fore and aft. OB (3, 1) 1 Heath’s Perrylands Hello Again. Pleasing sort of bitch of overall good confirmation. Well balanced and presents a typical appearance. Good head, eye and expression. Excellent depth of chest, strong muscular legs, firm body and well rounded hindquarters. Pleasing tailset and carriage. Sound positive mover. 2 McLeod’s Noap Charoit Madlen Mardzheri At Esgia (Imp). Thought she would be my winner on first inspection but just didn’t want to co-operate with her handler on the move on the day. Very well made throughout. Best of heads, good strength and well set ears. Scores in front assembly. Firm level topline and the best of quarters. VB (1) 1 Curtis’ Ch Brakemill Briar Rose. Lovely bitch who pushed hard for top honours. Fits the standard well, long, low and level and has kept her shape both stood and on the move. Excellent substance throughout. Typical in head with a good dark eye and best of expressions. Good depth of chest, well ribbed and strong well muscled hindquarters. Moved well. Judge David Shields |
