Not a bad entry for present day - 24, less absentees - and I was quite happy with what I had for the top placings.

1 Trezise-Dundas’ Cibach Cheeky Chops At Firstwish. Eight and a half yr old bitch, still has a strong body, clean coat, quite fit, pleasing head and eye, moved and showed steadily, quite a character.

JD (1)

1 Downie’s Eleighwater Axel. 13 mth old dog, masculine and self confident youngster with great personality, good bone, typical head, intelligent expression, very fit body of good depth, well fitting jacket, sound mover, showed himself off to advantage.

PGD (1)

1 Bettis’ Ornella Lover Boy. 16 mths, smart youngster with very good coat, excellent bone, good topline and quarters, attractive head, bright expression, good front, moved with a purpose, showy and positive.

LD (1)

1 Wonnacott’s Jacott Dancers Welsh Wizard ShCM. 2 yrs, very masculine and in good form today, well boned, good body and ribcage, keen and showy, easy mover, well fitting coat. A little plain in head.

1, CC & BOB, Daly & Crockett’s Forlegd Xlrate Lightning McQueen At Thornberryhall. 15 mths, eyecatching young male who put everything into his showing, good length of head, dark eyes, best of necklines, strong fit body, beautifully presented, impressed on the move and a comfortable winner for me.

2 Bettis’ Ch Ornella Country Living ShCM. Nearly 3, presented a good silhouette, lovely coat texture, good bone, moved with a purpose, not the head quality or expression of first. RCC.

1 & BP, Wonnacott’s Jacott Sunshine. 10 mths, quality puppy who was an easy winner here, pleasing head, good neck and topline, showed very well, moved with precision, well presented and handled, promising.

2 Tobijanski’s Zippor Grumpy Jones. 6 mths, and a real baby, attractive head, keen expression, firm body, good ribcage, nice coat texture, well set and carried tail, moved ok once she settled.

3 Preston’s Whooperhill Field Of Dreams.

1 Banks’ Eleighwater Adelinda. 13 mths, real live wire this one, good length of head, excellent body, good coat and condition, a bit unsettled on the move as she could hear her breeders voice!

1 Courtenay-Warren & Krykunivsky’s Bullbrit Shady Lady Of Nunneley. 18 mths, typy bitch, clean coat of good texture, pleasing head and eyes, strong body, good ribcage, delightful temperament, showy and co-operative.

2 Trezise-Dundas’ Firstwish Ara. Two and a half yrs old, feminine bitch with keen expression, excellent body, topline not 100 per cent on the move and could have a little more reach in front movement, sympathetically handled.

LB (2, 1)

1 Trezise-Dundas’ Firstwish Blossom Hill. Four and a half yrs, coat not at its best today, attractive head and expression, firm body, well muscled quarters, moved and showed ok, but could be a little more animated.

OB (6, 2)

1 & CC, Tobijanski’s Ch Zippor Sapphire Jones ShCM. 4 yrs, happy and high spirited throughout, at one with her handler always, quality head, keen bright expression, good bone, body and ribcage, moved well, very good showgirl.

2 & RCC, Oulton & Fourie’s Seasmolt Sassy Sunflower Of Whooperhill. 6 yrs, most attractive bitch, found her mojo when asked to move on her own, excellent coat and presentation, good type and size, well set tail.

3 Trezise-Dundas’ Cibach Carys At Firstwish.
