MPD (1)

1 Hemstock & Sanjesh’s Sanjesh & Jolihem Beau Boy. Nicely balanced and pleasing to handle as he is well put together and was relaxed and comfortable on the table. Strong jaw with good pigmentation. Well carried ears. Decent neck and shoulders. Moved soundly but I think the very noisy hall rather overwhelmed him and he didn’t give his best on the ground.

PD (1)

1 Hemstock’s Sanjesh & Jolihem Beau Boy.

PGD (2)

1 Curtis’ Jolihem Lene Joe Badger. Quite typical in outline. Well pigmented with strong jaw of good length. Has some breadth of chest and it is fairly well let down. Good topline, tailset and carriage.

2 Lee’s Ornella Chocolate Orange. Nicely presented with an attractive head and expression. Good body proportions and decent ribbing. A little wide in hind action and unfortunately, reluctant to use his tail.

LD (2)

1 James’ Nileda Mister Joe. Not a big dog but he does have some substance and is very typical in outline. Good skull, well set ears and strong jaw. Decent forehand and ribbing. Good topline and tailset.

2 Rear’s Ornella Night Song. Typey and pleasing to handle as he has a decent forehand, good body and ribs. Firm topline with good tailset. Typical masculine head and expression. Another who I felt was rather overwhelmed by the noise and sadly, he didn’t give his best on the move.

OD (4, 2)

1 Bell’s Ch Zippor Sleepy Sapphireson At Letara. CC & BOB. A classy dog of lovely type and balance. Grand head with strong punishing jaw and keen expression. Very good neck and shoulders. Strong bone and his chest is well let down. Moved really well with plenty of drive from the rear. Shown in a good jacket that was expertly prepared. I was delighted to see him placed second in a very good Terrier Group.

2 Evans’ Ch Nileda Our Mutual Friend. Reserve CC. Close up and another who was expertly presented in gleaming form. Masculine with a very pleasing head and expression. Fairly long, muscular neck and very good body with good length of rib. Well set tail with plenty behind it. Sound and typical on the move.

MPB (3, 1)

Two nice pups.

1 Roberts’ Ladeler Ffleur. Very assured and confident with an excellent topline and tailset. Pleasing head with keen expression. Good pigmentation. Strong jaw. Good body proportions with low slung chest. Strong well angulated hindquarters gave her some drive on the move.

2 Rear’s Magembay Megara. Very typical. Soundly made a pleasing head and expression. Well bodied with good length of rib. Good tail set. Moved soundly but just needs a little more experience to bring the best out of her.

PB (1)

1 Bettis & Bettis’ Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella. Best Puppy. Has lots of quality and with ordinary luck she should finish at the top. Grand head and expression. Good length of neck and clean shoulders. Good bone. Chest well let down and she is well ribbed with an excellent topline and good tailset. Very good driving rear action. Presented to best advantage.

PGB (1)

1 Curtis’ Kenaiteen Cascade. Pleasing to handle as she has a good forehand with decent bone, pleasing body and strong, well made hindquarters. Good head with powerful jaw. Not quite in the best coat but it is a decent texture. Impressed on the move.

LB (3, 1)

1 Hampson’s Saore On A Sunrise High (Imp Ita).

2 Merson’s Ornella Love Island Meets Magembay. Both these bitches were presented in very good order and showed and moved to best advantage. They are well bodied and present a very typical outline. I felt the winner just had the edge in hind angulation and a fraction more behind the tail but I am sure they could easily change places on another day.

OB (3, 1)

1 Waddell & Daly’s Ch Fennekin Dancing Queen At Thornberryhall. CC. Very pleasing in head with long punishing jaw and well carried ears. Has good substance and she is very well balanced. Strong, well ribbed body, excellent topline and tailset and plenty behind the tail. Very lively but once she settled her movement was exemplary.

2 Wonnacott’s Ch Jacott Sunshine. Reserve CC. Another one out of the top drawer and she too has lots of quality. Very attractive head and expression. Strong, length neck and good forehand. Pleasing for balance. Good body. Moved out well and shown in great condition.

VB (1)

1 Evans’ Ch Nileda Great Expectations ShCM. Best Veteran. This lovely bitch was shown in great condition. Excellent head and expression, strong jaw and very good forehand with strong bone. Ribs extend well back with a good topline and tailset. Strong, well angulated, muscular hindquarters gave her some drive on the move.
