Sealyham Terriers

It is never completely satisfactory for exhibitors when a substitute judge is appointed. However I am sure all will join with me in wishing Ernie Darby better health in the future. I hope Biddie Horn is feeling better soon.

LD

1 Polrose Parker Plus Ornella, quality dog of good proportions, good in head, excellent quarters. Just a little soft in topline. In excellent form. Can drop a little in chest yet but full of type. RCC.

OD

1 Hawks & Bledge’s Ch/Am Ch Blomendal’s Born In The USA at Thunder Road, full sized dog in excellent form with firm topline, good tailset, good quarters which he used well. Has thickened a little in head since I awarded him his first CC two years ago. I was a little surprised to see him here but felt that her merited the CC & BOB.

VD (1)

1 Evans & Haslam’s Ch Nileda Executive Date at Sunnyview, 9 years, lovely type & size, still going soundly & enjoying it. Not in his best coat & just showing his age in topline now, but lovely to see him enjoying it so much.

PB

1 Nomis Naughty And Nice, 11 months, lovely movement & very good proportions. Would like a little more length to her head. Scored in topline & front action. BP;

2 Kamryan Timeout, 8 months, lovely body shape & substance, excellent quarters. Just preferred her length of head to 1 but she is not as coordinated on the move & a little tight in tail carriage.

JB

1 Jacott Juniper Jem for Flojo, 14 months, lovely size & type, very good head. A little ticking in her coat. Good mover. Topline could have been firmer.

LB

Difficult choice.

1 Zippor Break A Leg, could be a little firmer in topline but has good proportions & moves very freely for a low to ground bitch. Has a lot of Sealyham type with very good length of head. Needs a little more topcoat to finish her but pleased me a lot. CC;

2 Zippor A Tale Of Two Sisters at Nileda, loved her standing for balance & going over her I liked her head very much, excellent ribs & coat, sound moving but her topline & tailset & carriage let her down, a pity. RCC.

OB

1 Ch Nomis Numero Uno, of correct proportions & scored in excellent balance & good coat, moves with freedom & accuracy. I would prefer a little more length to foreface. Her topline & tailset have been a little better;

2 Hawks & Bledge’s Am Ch Thunder Road This Kiss, lovely headed bitch, in excellent coat, good quarters & rear movement. Preferred the balance of 1 in length of body & lowness to ground. Her topline could have been better.
