SCOTTISH JUDGE SOUTH WALES 19
Its been 5 years since I last judged & sadly today I found some worrying traits. Fronts; many were
narrow with no brisket & crooked legs. Bone & substance; lacking in a number of exhibits today.
Heads; quite a few were short in skull & long in fore face. On a positive note, there were no light
eyes, expressions were good throughout & rear movement showed improvement.
PD(1).
1. Chapmans Berrybreeze Quintesential. Striking black. I loved his masculinity. Gd head,
with a dark almond shaped eye giving him the correct expression. Well laid shoulders with a
pleasing run-in, low slung body, well off for bone & substance, short coupled, wide rear with gd
angulation. Free showed & moved with drive. In fair coat. Needs a bit more time to mature but he
has a bright future ahead of him. RCC & BP.
JD(1).
1.Leonard & Smit-Kamerbeeks Lucias Dream Costa Bop.
PGD(2)
1.Harrison-Browns Eskwyre Carlito's Way. Brindle presented in super coat &
condition. Head Ok, would like a bit more length, though he has correct eye & expression. Lovely
neat ears that he used well. Shoulder placement could be a touch better but he has excellent body
properties. Well rounded ribs & low slung. Moved with more drive & confidence than 2.
2 Tylers Divadell Dr Feelgood, a little hesitant in his manner, liked his type, long head with gd expression,
slightly longer cast in body than 1 but better in shoulder placement. Would like to see him with a
little less coat & furnishings.
LD(3,1a)
1.Chapman & Bradleys Brueik's Superhero by Berrybreeze,
Very attractive boy in fabulous coat & condition. Lovely head & expression, used his ears well,
compact & well balanced body, super mover which won him the class. Would just prefer him to be
a touch more masculine.
2. Mackays Carisco Don't Stop Believing, More masculine than my
winner, long head with a gd expression, correct shoulder placement with a strong deep body, well
made rear, however lost his topline on the move.
OD(4)
1. Kenny-Marriott, Marriott & Kirk-Gellatly's
Ch.Millingford Hudson, Head Ok with a gd stop, dark eye & a lovely expression, correct shoulder
placement running into a V short compact, well made body. Ample bone & substance, low slung.
Well made rear with enough angulation, moving him with drive. Liked his showmanship. Well
presented. CC.
2. Earls Eskwyre Tom Foolery at Rolanka. Different type to my winner. V masculine
well off for bone & substance. Gd head, eye & expression. Correct neck & shoulders giving him a
pleasing outline, well muscled rear, another gd mover. Not so low as my winner. Beautifully
presented with an excellent harsh coat.
3. Petriccione's It Ch. Quinarius High as a Kite.

handles so well & is of excellent breed type. Lovely, balanced head with dark eye & correct
expression. Straight front legs with gd width & a defined brisket. Super bone & substance. Correct
shoulder placement with enough neck, flowing into a deep body, big ribs, low to ground. Wide rear
