SCOTTISH JUDGE WINDSOR 22

I would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge my favourite breed at my favourite show.many thanks also to my wonderful stewards who did an excellent job.

Vet (2.1)

1 Broome’s Liroda Midnight Kiss at Ewingbriar. 7 yr bitch of lovely type, very nice feminine head, short coupled body. Good lay of shoulder and plenty behind the tail. Nice wide front and deep chest.keeping a good topline on the move. Best Veteran.

PD (2.1)

1 Greenwood’s Petmon Royal Ruffian. 9 month of quality. Good head with nice expression. Muscular neck into good shoulders. Well off for body and bone.good topline. I would like more width of front but this may come with age. Best Puppy.

JD (2) (1)

1 Boyce and Cockayne Trakside Gabriel Oak. 14 month Brindle of cobby build.very nice shoulder assembly good length of upper arm. A little strong in head, nice eye, well rounded spring of rib and low to ground.just a shame he didn’t perform in the challenge.

2 Gordon and Knight Divadells Standing Bear. This male of a year old was difficult to assess as needs to settle. Good body and front. Low to ground. Moved ok.just didnt have the shoulders or short coupling of winner.

PGD (1)

1 Chick’s Bruik the Ace In The Pack. A quality dog with a lot to like. Lovely masculine head. Low to ground. Muscular neck of good length into good shoulder placement. Good rear angulation. I would like more width of front and shorter in loin to complete the picture. Handled very well.

LD (1)

1 Skudder’s Honeypaws Sweet Talking Guy. Male of good type. Masculine head and expression. Nice eye.nice shoulders and depth of chest. Good width of chest. I would prefer better rear angulation and more behind the tail moved out well, coat needs attention.

OD (4.1)

1 Kelly’s Ch Caresview Mr Goodfella. Eyecatching 4yr old Brindle of top drawer quality. Excellent front assembly. Short coupled. Low to ground. Put down in superb condition. Plenty behind the tail and tail bang on top.He was everything I was looking for. Moved out with drive. He was just my cup of tea. Dog CC.

2 Chapmans Bruik Super Hero By Berrybreeze. Another Quality male.all the same qualities as the winner apply. I just preferred the front of winner. Dog RCC.

Good citizens dog/bitch (1)

1 Greenwood’s Petmon Carisco Return Amber to Petmon. A bitch I liked a lot.feminine balanced clean head with sweet expression, good body and bone.nice width in front. Short coupled body and low slung chest. Moved well even though a touch unsettled.

PB (2,1)

1 Skudder’s Lucky Stars Boom Shake The Room. A raw baby of 9 months. Nice chunky body.good bone. Clean head of good balanced length. Kept her topline when settled, a better lay of shoulder would improve the picture.

JB (2)

1 Knight & Poolton. Russulan Martha Rose. 15 month very feminine bitch. Pretty head and neat ears. Well laid shoulders. Good width of front. Good spring of rib.short coupled body, plenty of angulation behind the tail. One of the best groomed exhibits of the day and was considered for the rcc but just needs to mature. Handled very well. A bright future in store I’m sure.

2 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next At Glenaffric. 1 year old of good body and bone pleasing head moved ok. Sadly didn’t have the shoulder assembly, length of upper arm or rear angulation of winner.

PGB (1)

1 Mahmoudi’s Stellamera High Society. Bitch of nice type and size. A touch strong on head. Well off for substance and bone, low slung chest.short in loin coat needs attention moved ok.

LB (5)

1 Kenny Marriot & Marriot Millingford Rosetta. I loved this bitch, beautiful trademark millingford clean balanced head. Textbook shoulder placement. Super front. Level topline, low to ground.excellent drive on the move, very unlucky to meet the CC winner today.

2 Kelly’s Storm in a Teacup. Very close behind winner today. All the same qualities of the winner apply but she didn’t have the overall drive of the winner. I liked her a lot.

OB (8.1)

What an absolute privilege to judge this fabulous quality class.

1 Plane’s Surprise Van Tinsdal Stuane. My notes started with simply WOW. This bitch gave me goosebumps and not many have done that over the years. To me she is the epitome if the breed standard. Short coupled, good bone and substance, low to ground, well rounded spring of rib, feminine clean well balanced head, small ears almond eye, she had the best front assembly I have judged to date, put down in glorious bloom I absolutely fell in love with this girl. Bitch CC and BOB.

2 Hovagimyan Ch Verescott Pearl Queen. Another stunner in this quality class. She ran very close behind the winner, very similar qualities to winner but didn’t have the substance or front of the winner.
