SCOTTISH WINDSOR 11 Judge: Mr D G L Winsley SCOTTISH JUDGE WINDSOR 11 Scottish Terriers V (3) 1 Corney's Benartybrae Lucky Heather, 9 years brindle bitch, nice length of head, flat skull & well placed ears, good length of neck, a little narrow in front. Well made body & low to ground, nice turn of stifle & correct tailset, in good coat & coat condition; 2 Cardy's Blackthorpe Jet Ranger of Brettvale, black dog, nice length of head. Tends to run up towards his tail which detracts from his outline. Low to ground, well made body, very good coat & preparation; 3 Sykes' Tuc Bright Eyed Boy. PD (3) 1 Greenwood's Petmon Royal Magician, black, nice length of head, flatish skull, just needs to finish. Dark eye, well placed ears, strong neck & well placed shoulders, good ribs & low to ground, strong hindquarters used well, in nice coat & condition; 2 Pagram's Torcraig Dizzy Gillespie, black, nice length of head which has time to develop more. General outline good with good body, strongly made behind & correct tailset; 3 Beardsmore's Forestree Might Oak. JD (2) 1 Peace's Berrybreeze Say Cheese, black, liked his overall shape, good spring of rib, low to ground, good length of head but could have a clearer skull. Muscular neck, good shoulders, level topline, good stifles, can move with drive, has plenty of character; 2 Thomson's Ashgate Going For Gold, wheaten, good length to head. Unfortunately did not use his ears well to his advantage. Nice overall shape but lacking the body & condition of 1. Needs time to mature. PGD (5) 1 Rees' Rabbonai Gilead at Miacarla, black, nice head, flat skull & well placed ears, good neck, forechest & front, low to ground, short coupling, correctly made behind & drives off well, tail well placed, good outline & in good coat; 2 Novagimyan's Verascott Extrem Dream, thought would be my winner but failed to 1 on his bite. Nice masculine head, good muscular neck, correct outline, well made body, moves well; 3 Greenwood's Petmon Light Of My Life. LD (7) 1 Chapman's Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascal, black of medium size, nice outline & proportions, nice head for length, strength & front, good forechest with depth to body, well made muscular hindquarters, short hocks, moving out with drive & purpose, in good coat & condition. CC; 2 V Extrem Dream, black, nice head & expression, would like a shade more neck. Really good front & well made body, correct tailset, in good coat & condition, has lots of spirit about him. Preferred the balance of 1; 3 Chick's Brueiks Magical Connection. OD (8) 1 Farrand's Ch Amberyl Beinn Mor, black, very smart dog, nice head for length & shape, liked his front & overall shape, well made body, correct tailset, strongly made hindquarters which he can use, though well trimmed lacked the quality & condition of the CC winner's coat. RCC; 2 Hovagimyan's Fr/Lux/Dan Ch Tamzin Mr Prospector, black, stronger made head than 1, good neck & shoulders, well made body & low to ground, good ribbing & enough coupling, well made hindquarters, tailset correct & in good coat; 3 Tuvey's Trackside Flyinscotsman at Charmic. GCD (1) 1 P Lite Of My Life, black, strong jaw with big teeth, good length of head & dark eye. Would like a more muscular neck. Well made body, strongly muscled hindquarters which he used well. In good coat & condition. PB (4) 1 Beckton's Glengracie Toffee Crisp, brindle, has lots to like about her, nice overall shape & balance, nice length of head, strong jaw, clean throughout, good neck & shoulders blending into a level topline, well made body, correct tailset, free mover, in lovely coat & condition. Will do well as she matures. BP; 2 Chapman's Berrybreeze Glad All Over, black, long lean head, good front & forechest, well made body but loses topline on the move. Strong hindquarters but could have more width when moving away. Happy & showy girl; 3 Thomson's Ashgate Pennies From Heaven. JB (5) 1 Plane's Stuane Florette, brindle of outstanding type, just defies you to dare ignore her, has the head I was looking for, level lines, length & strength but clean throughout, good neck that blends into a strong back & level topline, good front, well made body with strong hindquarters, tailset in the right place, coat of good quality & put down to the minute, the ultimate showgirl. CC & BOB; 2 Hovagimyan's Verascott Fairy Queen, black, nice head, good neck & shoulders, substantial well made body & strong hindquarters, nice shape overall. Tail a touch gay but shows very well; 3 Mills' Blackthorpe Bianca. PGB (7) 1 Hovagimyan's Verascott Annie Get Your Gun, black, has lots to like about her, did not show herself off well. good length of head, strong muzzle, nice dark eye, nicely made body & shape, moved OK, in good coat & condition; 2 Maidment's Berrybreeze Explorer, black, nice length of head. Would like skull a bit more refined. Good neck, well made body, good tailset. Coat could be harsher. Moves with lots of power; 3 Cole's Rabbonai Naughty But Nice. LB (9) 1 Corney's Rilynson Sunshine Princess, brindle, have judged before & like her type, good length of head, flat skull & well placed ears, muscular neck, true front, good body for depth & shape, strongly made hindquarters, tailset correct, nice coat which is beautifully prepared, free moving both ways. RCC; 2 V Annie Get Your Gun; 3 Hardy's Trakside Springtime of Maganthan. OB (4) 1 Tyzack's Int/Bel/Fr/Lux Ch Scotline Ginger Snap for Gate, black of obvious quality, nice length of head, strong muzzle but would prefer a little more refinement in skull. Dark eye, well placed ears, liked her body shape & overall balance, low to ground but moves with freedom. In lovely coat & condition; 2 Pagram's Torcraig Fair Enough, wheaten, long lean head, ears well placed & good eye colour. Failed to 1 in front action. Well made body, low with level topline, tail correctly placed & strong hindquarters, in very glamorous coat expertly prepared; 3 Hovagimyan's Fr/Swiss/Bel/Int Ch Verascott Ask For The Moon. GCB (1) 1 Greenwood's Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle, black, nice head & expression, clean outline. Would like shorter coupling. Shows & moves out well. D WINSLEY |
