On the move he was very unsettled but eventually settled, could have more drive from the rear. Best Dog Puppy. PD (1) 1 Tout Nouveau Tout Beau du Clan des Petits Colonels JD (4) 1 Boyce & Cockayne’s Trakside Gabriel Oak. 17mths Brindle with a classic outline, long head, dark eye, uses his ears to advantage. Decent legs and feet, super coat texture, still looking immature as he could carry more weight to advantage. On the move he strode out well and kept his outline. 2 Norton’s Divadell’s Charging Bear 14 mths dark brindle, lots to like about him, long head with dark eye, sufficient bone, coat texture good, short backed but he too could carry more body. Well set and carried tail, not quite the drive of the winner on the move. 3 Harrison-Brown & Norton’s Divadell Who’s The Man. PGD (2) The first and second in this class were brothers and very similar to each other. 1 Chapman & Lidgett’s Berrybreeze Magical Spirit This dog is good to go over and very well balanced throughout, masculine head with a dark well set eye, good width in front and deep ribs, compact body, presented in good coat and condition. He pleased on the move out and back. 2 Tyler & Chapman’s Berrybreeze Spirit Master As I said earlier brother to the first and very similar, again balanced and carried a good body, masculine head, good bone, well ribbed. On the move he didn’t have the drive or carriage of the winner who covered more ground. LD (3) 1 Harrison-Brown’s Eskwyre Carlito’s Way. This brindle appealed for breed type, correct topline and tailset, coat was of good texture and presented in good order. Good legs and feet, well ribbed body, strong enough in head, front ok, moved very well front and back and gave a good picture in profile. 2 Skudder’s Honeypaws Sweet Talking Guy. A solid sturdy dog, who is well off for body and rib, powerful well balanced head, correct mouth, sufficient bone for size. Good coat which was well presented, good tailset, he was sound out and back but didn’t quite have the drive of the first. 3 McCracken’s Our Black Jack For Amawyn. OD (3) Maybe not a huge numerical entry but this class contained some quality dogs and the decisions were close. 1 Coley’s Kingsview Just Jordan. This quality 2yrs black was of super breed type, good size, solid, sturdy and compact were my first impressions and these were confirmed on examination, masculine head, correct mouth, well constructed front with a deep, well slung body. Good rib, short loin, well set and carried tail. He was positive out and back and displayed the correct outline in profile, pleased to award him the CC. 2 Kelly & Kelly Ch Carseview Mr Goodfella This 4 yrs brindle pushed the winner hard but was not as cooperative on the move, a typical Scottie! He is well balanced throughout with a strong masculine head, he too is well put together with a solid well ribbed body, ample bone, coat of correct texture that was well presented. After several attempts he finally settled to move out and back at a steady pace, again presented a good outline in profile. Res CC. 3 Chapman & Bradley’s Brueik’s Super Hero By Berrybreeze. MPB (1) 1 Taylor’s Pamaswater Ivy This raw baby was a little overcome by the proceedings and it was difficult to assess her on the move as she played her young handler up. Dark eye, correct mouth, needs to develop in front, could carry more body to advantage. Very unsettled on the move out and back. PB (1) 1 Skudder & Caley’s Lucky Star’s Boom Shake The Room (Imp Ger). 11 mths bitch, her stylish movement her through to Best Puppy In Breed, feminine clean head, sufficient bone, would prefer more width in front, could carry more body to advantage, coat of good texture, on the move she displayed drive from the rear and retained her outline in profile. JB (2) 1 Norton’s Divadell Come Fly With Me. A balanced outline, short and compact, well ribbed body with depth, long head, dark eye, good coat texture, used her tail to advantage. Moved out well front and back. 2 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next at Glenaffric. Very similar to the first but could do with a touch more angulation front and back, balanced head, needs more bone, not the rib or the body of the first, she made the best of herself on the move out and back, presented in good coat. PGB (5,2) 1 Emmins’ Kingsview Just Juliet 2 Yrs black, quality head and eye, very well off for body and rib, short and compact, good topline and tailset, sufficient bone, good legs and feet she moved true front back, well presented coat of correct texture. She carried herself very well on the circuit of the ring retaining her topline. 2 Kirk-Gellatly Whitwitch Fire Starter Another quality girl, balanced head but not quite the length of the winner, true front, good body and rib, she too moved out well and used the ring to advantage, coat of good texture that was well presented. 3 Hoare’s Divadell Who’s Next at Glenaffric. This black appeals greatly for breed type, almost 2yrs and full of quality, quality clean head, dark eye, neat ears, strong neck, ample bone, well ribbed short, compact body with good depth. Coat of good texture that was well presented, she gave a very good account of herself coming and going and circled the ring covering the ground well.
