Scottish Terriers

The general impression of the breed is the dogs have a very good & a good type. Squat & thickset. Not a lot of compact dogs. Very good body & bone. The wide body & chest. Very good front. Only a few dogs with a large head & a strong muzzle. Some dogs with ears hanged out. The topline is good in almost all dogs. The correct form & tailset. Not all dogs have a straight front legs. Good ribs. Hind legs with medium angles. Upper thigh is not wide. All dogs have a harsh coat & energetic movements. Good temperament.
