SCOTTISH SOUTHERN COUNTIES 25 Judge: Felicity Snook (Pitcombe) PD (2) 1 Taylor’s Karmaristol Ericsson for Pamaswater. 9 month brindle lad, shapely outline and sporting a harsh jacket, he could perhaps have a little more body which should come with maturity. Attractive, masculine head with a keen intelligent expression, ears held erect, very dark eyes and big strong teeth with a good bite. He has a moderate yet strong neck, good forehand with some breadth of chest, firm level topline and tail set on well. On the go around his well muscled hindquarters and strong hocks enabled him to drive from behind. In the challenge for best puppy, just slightly preferred the slightly more compact outline of the MP winner. PGD (3) 1 Bodman’s Severus Snape. Another black dog with strong head plenty of bone but slightly out at elbow, compact and solid square dog with good ribs. Grooming could be better, moved ok. Another black dog with strong head plenty of bone but slightly out at elbow, compact and solid square dog with good ribs. Grooming could be better, moved ok OD (6) 1 Plane’s Stuane Craftsman. Really solidly built young d with the most wonderful muscle. Liked his long head, well balanced. High set ears. Enough neck. Stands a bit wide on table but correct width moving. Good forechest. Deep chest. Well sprung ribs back to a short loin, firm in topline. Powerful rear. Moved v well and is full of character. CC A good class and I particularly liked the first three here. My winner was this 18 mth old black who I thought an excellent type, is well off for bone and substance, all male and so good hands on. Strong, muscular neck which flows smoothly into excellent shoulders, firm through the topline, best of ribbing, short in the couplings and thick tail set on as it should be. Masculine, well-proportioned head, good planes, dark expressive almond-shaped eyes, ears set on well, clean cheeks, strength to foreface and scissor bite. He has a super forechest, stands on good feet and has width to the rear. Moves out with purpose and pleased from all angles. Quality jacket and presentation. CC & BOB. BD. 2 Nixon’s Tout Nouveau Tout Beau Du Clan Des Petits Colonel Karmaristol JW ShCEx. ME - This dog has certainly grown up and developed into a lovely dog since I judged him as a puppy. Now a very smart black brindle dog beautifully presented in a wonderful harsh double coat. Good outline and balance. Super long, well-proportioned head. Dark almond eyes and correct neat ears. Fairly broad chest hung between forelegs. Topline level. He moved very well, smoothly and freely. presenter in a good harsh coat, pleasing outline with a level topline and nice tail set. Head was proportioned with a strongly constructed foreface, ears were erect and pointed, good bite and expression. A well boned front was evident, hindquarters were muscled and toned. Moved well. 3 year old brindle dog presented in excellent condition with a lovely harsh coat. Head was a little coarse with cheeks detracting from a smooth face. Another dog that is narrow at the front. Has a dip at the withers which is more evident on the move. Moved ok.
