SCOTTISH SOUTH WALES 11 Judge(s) MAURICE MARSHALL DCC INT/D/NL/B/L/DK CH SIR DARNLEY'S QUBIC Q (MRS MAREN BICHEL-SCHNOCK) Scottish Terriers PD (5) 1 Pagram’s Torcraig Dizzy Gillespie, really attractive baby, lovely head & expression, good front, well built body, good topline, tail well placed, strong quarters, moved very well. Felt he was a trifle small, I hope he makes it with time. BP; 2 Coley’s Kingsview Just Stewart, good head, nice front, nice rib, good outlook, moved well. Would like the ears a little smaller. Moved very well. JD (0). PGD (2) 1 Rees’ Rabbonai Gilead at Miacarla, seen before; 2 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor, good head & expression, nice neck & front. Needs new coat to complete the picture. Moved fairly well. LD (3) 1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascle, much to admire, grand head & ears, good neck, nice body, correct set on, moved & showed very well. RCC; 2 Hill’s Bonnieanne Norman of Tahgmor, very promising. In need of a new coat & a touch wide in front; 3 Rees’ Rabbonai Black Diamond at Miacarla. OD (2) 1 Bichel-Schnock’s Int/D/NL/B/L/Dk Ch Sir Darnley’s Qubic Q, very nice dog, good make & shape, well coated, great body, super bone, good topline, strong quarters, lovely coat & condition. CC; 2 B Norman of Tahgmor. VD (0). PB (1) 1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Glad All Over, lovely all through & very classy, good head & lovely expression, good front, lovely topline, tail well placed, good set on, strong quarters, moved very well. JB (0). PGB (2) 1 Maidment’s Berrybreeze Explorer, one I liked very much, in very good coat & condition, nice front, good depth, tail well placed, moved very well; 2 Rees’ Rabbonai Blackberry at Miacarla, short tail, good coat, tail well placed, strong quarters. Moved a touch close in front. LB (3) 1 Rees’ Brueik Mischief at Miacarla, swell headed bitch, in very good coat & condition, good rib, tail well placed. Just spoilt a little by being a little loose in front; 2 Pearmain & Sherwood’s Ashkeltar Maybe This Time at Delandmar, lovely head & expression, very similar to 1. Grand body, in lovely order; 3 Cole’s Rabbonai Naughty But Nice. OB (5) 1 Plane’s Ch Stuane Florette, I had the pleasure of judging this lovely bitch before only on that occasion she was placed in the group. Today she did not disappoint me as she has blossomed into one of the nicest that I have seen in several years. Very short & compact, great outlook, full of joy, great head, lovely placed ears, good neck & front, good depth of brisket, tail extremely well placed, lovely quarters, moved exceedingly well. I was glad to see her win the group. CC & BOB; 2 Pagram’s Torcraig Black Pearl, this is one that I liked very much but unfortunate to meet 1. A touch bigger with plenty of fire, grand head & outlook, lovely front, good rib, tail well placed, strong quarters & moved very well. RCC; 3 Bichel-Schnock & Schnock’s Lux/D Ch Sir Darnley’s Talisker Taste. VB (0). MAURICE MARSHALL |
