PGD (3,1a)

1 Todd’s Eskwyre Waterloo Sunset, powerful dog with long head, good strength of foreface, small dark eye. Ears could be smaller. Has a good front, deep chest, body of substance, well rounded ribs. A shorter back would be to advantage. Has good set on, moved OK;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Man-In-Black, a compact, short coupled dog with balanced head, dark eye, neat ears. Whilst chest was fairly broad overall could have more body & substance, at under 2 years this can develop. Movement good, well set tail.

LD (2)

1 Earl’s Eskwyre Tom Foolery at Rolanka, a dog of substance, thick set, low to ground, has a long head, correct skull, strong foreface, well set & used ears. Just a little strong in cheek. Has fair length of neck to well laid shoulders, short back, moves with drive on powerful quarters;

2 Meek’s Benartybrae Macarena at Benbetham, wheaten with a long but rather heavy head & not using ears to advantage. Has fair length of neck, broad chest, well slung, moderate length of back, good set on. Lost a little in topline. Moved OK.

OD (4)

1 Plane’s Ch Stuane King’s Sword, not a big one yet has the desired suggestion of great power. Has a long, well proportioned head, narrow in appearance with correct eye with well set & used ears giving keen intelligent expression. Neck of fair length, muscular to well angulated shoulders, good depth of chest, short strong back, well rounded ribs, wide buttocks, tail on top, in good harsh coat, free movement. CC & BOB;

2 Beckton’s Glengracie Formula One, wheaten who I have previously admired. Shown in top condition, his coat so well presented. Has a well proportioned head, neat ears, excellent front, well boned forelegs, broad chest, well developed brisket, strong body, deep chest, short back, good set on, sound in movement. RCC;

3 Crawshaw’s Trakside Wellington at Levenkirk.

PB (1)

1 Herd’s Feregait Goody Four Shoes, 9 months brindle, has a long head, clean cheeks, neat ears, good front, well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, well developed body for age. Back could be shorter. Good set on, moves well. BP.

PGB (1)

1 Meek’s Benartybrae Love In A Mist at Benbetham, pleasing head with small dark eye, neat ears, fair length of neck, short back, deep chest, good set on, coat of harsh texture but ready for a new one.

LB (3,1)

1 Rowland & Rees’ Dottys Little Girl at Rabbonai, quality bitch with excellent head, dark deep set eyes, small neat ears, muscular neck of moderate length, well angulated shoulders, broad chest, good depth, short back, well ribbed, powerful quarters, covers the ground well on the move. RCC;

2 Kelly’s Carseview Queen Of The May, pleasing head, fair length of neck, deep chest, good body condition. Could be shorter in back with a little more development of buttocks. In good coat of harsh texture.

OB (3)

1 Annan’s Lomondview Signature, this lovely bitch just came into the ring & owned it. Loved her well proportioned head with keen expression, carried so well on super neck & front, her long sloping shoulders to short muscular back gave an eye catching topline with tail on top & powerful quarters with plenty behind the tail. Has a harsh double coat although ready to change did not detract from the overall picture. Moved with freedom & drive. CC;

2 Plane’s Ch Stuane Sword Dancer, this is a very well made & balanced black. Has a long head to suit her size with keen expression, good front, short coupled body width, good depth, strong level back, good set on, good coat, positive on the move;

3 Kelly’s Carseview Hurricane Hannah. VB (0).
