Scottish Terriers

PD (2)

1 Rutherford’s Carisco Midas Touch, masculine & well grown wheaten, very good body & rib, good eyes & nose. Needs time for ears. Firm hindquarters, good well set tail, moved out well;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Copper Coin, I just preferred in head but is 2 months younger than 1 & has not yet got the coat texture. Good body & rib, well coupled, strong hindquarters, moved out well. Will settle more as he matures, has excellent character.

JD (0).

PGD (1)

1 & 2 Withheld.

3 Healey’s Ashkeltar Bite The Bullet. I was sorry to withhold as he is a real Scottie but he hated being in the ring & was reluctant to either move or show.

LD (2)

1 Rutherford’s Carisco My Leading Man, very pleasing smart black, pleasing head, good neck & shoulders, topline & tailset, well coupled. Can still mature a little in hindquarters but moved soundly;

2 Pollock’s Millingford Winter Lion, slightly rangier dog. Good neck, nice bone & feet, moved soundly. Could be cleaner in cheeks.

OD (4)

1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascle, very good black, pleasing head & eyes, good neck, shoulders, topline & tail, good firm well developed hindquarters, in very good coat & condition, moved well. CC, which I understand was his third;

2 Farrand’s Ch Amberyl Beinn Mor, neat, well balanced black, pleasing neck & shoulders, good topline & tailset, well coupled, rise over the croup & thighs, moved soundly, looked the part. RCC;

3 Toth’s Multi Ch Happy Birthday Du Moulin de McMonique.

PB (2)

1 Annan’s Lomondview Athol Rose, charming feminine black, good head & eyes, neat ears, well balanced for age, good body & ribs. Needs time for coat but has lots of promise. BP:

2 Rutherford’s Carisco Coco Chanel, slightly rangier but full of character. Well bodied, moved well & with spirit. JB (0).

PGB (2)

1 Kelly’s Glenboig Lady Luck at Carseview, neat, feminine, had the edge in head on 2. Nice eyes, good topline & tailset, pleasing forehand. Could be a little stronger in hindquarters;

2 Brown’s My Little Sweetie, strong forceful bitch, could be a little better in topline & coat but well bodied. Moved soundly.

LB (5)

1 Chapman’s Berrybreeze Glad All Over, younger sister to the DCC winner. Good head, eyes & ears, pleasing neck, shoulders & front, nice topline & tailset, in good coat & condition, moved well. RCC;

2 Annan’s Lomondview Catalina, at 8 years has lost a little shape over her shoulders but a true Scot. Very good body, rib & bone, very alert, interested in everything, good tailset, moved & showed steadily;

3 Cairns’ Glenboig Gracie Kinclaith.

OB (5)

1 Plane’s Ch Stuane Florette, level, good head & eyes, neat ears, good forehand, pleasing topline & tailset, strong hindquarters, good body, rib & couplings, in good coat & condition, moved & showed well. I was delighted to see this top quality bitch win the group;

2 Kelly’s Glenboig Lady Gaga at Carseview, very smart, good head but ears could be better. Pleasing neck, topline & tailset, moved out well. Could be better coupled;

3 Annan’s Lomondview Jaffa.
