SCOTTISH SKC AUGUST 17 Judge: Mrs C A Rutherford (Carisco) BEST OF BREED : 4390 KENNY-MARRIOTT , Mrs A & MARRIOTT , Mr J & KIRK- Millingford Fire Queen SCOTTISH JUDGE SKC AUGUST 17 I would like to thank all the exhibitors for giving me the pleasure of judging their lovely dogs and to the Committee for inviting me to judge at this show today. I think that fronts need to be watched though I think there has been a little improvement of late. Thank you to all exhibitors for accepting my decisions so gracefully. 1 Boyce's Trakside Royal Indian. 10 mths old, very attractive quality black puppy with a beautiful outline and shape, well constructed and balanced throughout, excellent head with dark almond eye, correct bite, neat set of ears which he used well, good front, solid deep body, correct lay of shoulder, level topline, short coupled tail bang on top, good hindquarters, presented in great condition, little unsettled on the move but still a worthy winner of BP. 1 Boyce's Trakside Mr Goodbar. Very attractive brindle dog from this kennel who was a delight to go over and again presented in excellent condition and quality throughout, super clean head, good eye, neat ears, great front with substance, well laid back shoulders, well ribbed and short in back, correct tail placement, moved with drive today. 2 Corney Of Stonegarth Shaken Not Stirred. Very attractive wheaten with good head, beautiful dark almond eye, neat well placed ears, nice run in of neck, short coupled, well placed tail and moved with drive and determination, just preferred front of first. 1 Mahmoudi's Glengracie Jetson. Masculine brindle dog, well up to size but would prefer a little finer head but had good eye and lovely ears and placement but reluctant to use them. Correct dentition, super front, well ribbed and low to ground, tail and movement ok. 1 Todd's Eskwyre Waterloo Sunset. Black dog with good head, correct eye and mouth but ear placement could be better, lovely front, tail set good, well muscled rear quarters, well presented. Moved ok. 1 Kenny-Marriott's Ch & Rus Millingford Kings Choice. Top quality, elegant black dog who just demands attention, punishing masculine and balanced head with beautiful deep set almond eyes, correct mouth, great front and substance throughout, correct layback of shoulder, good body with well sprung ribs, excellent tail placement and strong rear quarters, double coat in excellent condition, moved and showed well. CC. 2 Plane's Stuane Cloak And Dagger. This black young man gave first a run for his money. Quality dog and many of the attributes of first with super head, dark almond eye, correct mouth and ears, correct run in of shoulder, good spring of ribs, low to ground and correct tail set, moved with drive and determination and showed his socks off. Any other day positions would be reversed. Beautifully presented as is the norm from this kennel. RCC. 3 Annan's Lomondview Man In Black. 1 Meek's Lomondview Amber Solitaire At Benbetham. 10 mth old wheaten young lady in super condition, lovely feminine head with dark eye and black pigmentation, lovely neat correct ears, would prefer less hair on head, tail on top which she used well and went like a train. Should mature nicely. 1 Dauncey's Glenmair Maid To Measure. Black bitch with a lot of fire in her today! But lots to like about her, lovely head with correct attributes, but what substance and bone this girl has. Super front with layback of shoulder leading into a great spring of rib and so low to ground, tail set good and moved with animation. Feel she would benefit from a little less weight as this is making her look well up to size but a lot to like here. 2 Meek's Benbetham Geraldine Of Oban. Black fine boned bitch with lovely feminine head, excellent dentition, beautiful neat ears and dark almond eyes, would prefer a little higher tail set, but moved well. 3 Forsyth's Apsla Sunset Barley Glow. 1 Corney Rilynson Aruba Arehucas. Lovely brindle bitch who was a delight to go over. Super feminine head, deep set dark almond shaped eyes, neat ears but reluctant to use them today, good body with super coat, nice front with correct run in from neck to correct shoulder placement, deep set ribs, short coupled and tail well set and good hindquarters, reluctant on the move. 1 Kenny-Marriott & Kirk-Gellatley's Millingford Fire Queen. And this young lady certainly lived up to her name. Couldn't take my eyes off her, beautiful black bitch with pure elegance who simply owned the ring, quality feminine head with everything correct, super run in of neck to well balanced body, great substance, lovely front and low to ground, short coupled and correct tail placement which was not exaggerated, held topline on the move, beautifully presented with double coat in excellent condition. She simply owned the ring. What a show stopper. Was delighted to give her CC and BOB and thrilled to see she took Group 3. 2 Kelly's Carseview Hurricane Hannah. Another super bitch to go over and who I have watched and has improved with maturity. Super head with all the right attributes. Excellent front, correct elbows, great spring of ribs, super low to ground, would have preferred her slightly shorter cast but with correct tail placement and well muscled rear quarters which gave her excellent movement. As always from this kennel, presentation is second to none. Very pleased to give her RCC. 3 Annan's Lomondview Honeysuckle. 1 Corney's Rilynson Sunshine Princess. And what a ray of sunshine, at 10 yrs old this little lady stole the show for me. Superb condition for one of this age. Still quality with lovely head, neat ears and dentition to die for. Great front, spring of ribs and low to ground, tail well set and so well muscled for her age, but this young lady knew just how far she wanted to walk and no further!! Beautifully presented with great coat texture and condition. Certainly a real credit to her owner.
