SCOTTISH TERRIER

I find myself worrying about type & movement. A Scottie should be thick set, well boned & low to ground, there seems to be an occurrence of narrow, tall & rangy Scotties at the moment.

PD

1. Annan's Lomondview Copper Coin. Eye catching, appealing head with neat ears, short cobby body, low to ground, a little excitable but moved ok when settled.

2. Rutherford's Carisco Midas Touch, another promising youngster, slightly longer cast than 1, super bone & substance, just needs time to mature.

PGD.

1. Healey's Ashkeltar Bite the Bullet. Brindle, of good type. Lovely head & expression, neat ears, deep in chest, low to ground, could be shorter in back, not happy today on the move.

LD

1.Earl's Rolanka Bucks Fizz, eye catching wheaten in fabulous trim, attractive head with lovely expression, gd front, correct neck & shoulder placement, level top line & good tail set. Well made rear. One of the best movers today which won him the class & RCC.

2 Pollock's Millingford Winter Lion, black of correct type. Nice head & expression, superb body properties, such a well made straight front with brisket which was sadly lacking in most exhibits here today, super bone, low to ground, presented a pleasing outline when stood, but could put more enthusiasm into his showing.

3. Rutherford's Carisco My Leading Man.

OD.

1. Chapman's CH. Berrybreeze Dizzee Rascle, the finished article. Black in super coat & condition, loveliest of heads, neat ears & a keen expression, deep in chest with brisket, super bone, correct neck & shoulders, gd ribs, low to ground, powerfully constructed behind, moved very well with animation.CC.

2. Goddards Ch Emandem Black Pudding. Have judged this brindle before & he has matured well. Good head with neat well placed ears, straight wide front, short cobby body, excellent topline, in super coat & condition. Showed well.

PB

1. Annan's Lomondview Athol Rose, v nice baby, feminine, sweet head & expression, front ok, v low to ground, short & cobby body, creating a lovely outline on the move. Full of herself. BP.

2 Cairn's Rockybar Lady Jane at Glenboig.

JB.

1. Bradley & Herd's Brueik Felicitous, v promising black, feminine, super head, front ok, low to ground, lovely neck & shoulders which gave her a pleasing run in & outline, needs coat & time to mature, really liked her on the move.

PGB.

2 smart handlers that complimented their well turned out exhibits.

1. Milburn-Gates' Liroda Sky Dancer, attractive brindle, gd head & expression, neat ears, correct shoulder placement, level topline, well angulated rear, a little light in bone, showed well.

2 Lawrence's Trackside Chocolate Box of Sweetgarret, head ok, ear placement could be better, super body properties, well off for bone, low to ground, in lovely order, could have showed with a bit more enthusiasm.

LB.

1. Kenny's Millingford Cloudberry, appealing black of correct type, feminine head with well placed ears & lovely expression, gd front with brisket, low slung body with correct ribs, well laid shoulders running into an ultra short back, showed with animation but needs a new coat. RCC.

2. Millburn-Gates' Liroda Earth Angel, attractive brindle in super trim, finer boned than 1, lovely head, short cobby body, moved correctly though was not happy today in her showing.

OB.

1 Plane's Ch Stuane Florette, in top form, beautiful head with neat ears & pleasing expression, well made front with brisket, wide enough with straight legs & gd bone, short back & deep chest, well angulated powerful hindquarters, neat tail, harsh, well conditioned coat in a shorter trim today, which I preffer. In essence she is a Scottie of correct type. Moved well, showing with animation CC & BOB.

2. Aiken'sIR CH Slievecroob Scotch Heather, liked her a lot, scores highly in body properties, pretty head, v gd in front, shoulders could be better but v short, low to ground, excellent ribcage, in super condition, showed & moved v well.

3. Kelly's Ch Glenboig Lady Gaga at Carseview.
