Scottish Terriers

A numerically pleasing entry. Some nice exhibit but also a wide variety of heads & too many lacking in bone & straight forelegs & drive the desired powerful hind legs.

V (2)

1 Greenwood’s Amber Go with Petmon, compact, low slung, good length of clean head, strong foreface, very good topline & tail, very good front, harsh coat in good order, steady mover. BV;

2 Lawrence’s Turnaware Tarri of Sweetgarret. PD (1) A.

JD (3)

1 Mills’ Mullachbal Thiadorichs of Blackthorpe, 13 months, of good type, good depth of body & well slung between front legs, that could be straighter. Fair length of head. Would like flatter skull & neater ears. Very good topline & tailset. Could cover more ground on the move. Coat in good order.

PGD (4)

1 Greenwood’s Petmon Royal Magician, compact, low slung between well boned forelegs, very good chest & depth of body, very good topline & free mover with drive from powerful hindquarters, excellent close-lying double coat. BOB;

2 Hardy’s Magandthan Black Heather;

3 Hill’s Polwicks Black Tourmaline of Tahgmor.

OD (7)

1 Difficult class.

1 Walker’s Beaureveur Magnifique, masculine with nice depth & bone. Would have liked him more compact & shorter in back for better overall balance. Good length of head, foreface deep throughout. Would like better ears. Good front & reach in forehand but lacked a bit of drive. Coat well presented & in good order. RBD;

2 Greenwood’s Petmon Light Of My Life;

3 Toth’s Ch Happy Birthday Du Moulin De Mcmonique.

PB (1)

1 Walker’s Benartybrae Salsa avec Beaureveur, feminine, well balanced, very good bone & substance for age, deep slung between good forehand, fair length of head. Would like slightly more stop, ears a bit wide. Moved & show well. BP.

JB (2)

1 Lawrence’s Chatterdale Dark Star of Sweetgarret, 12 months, sweet feminine, pleasing length of clean head, slightly wide ears, well slung between well boned forelegs, good depth right through for age & covered the ground driving well from powerful hindquarters, very well presented in closefitting jacket.

PGB (3)

1 Mills’ Blackthorpe Bianca, very nice type & size, feminine clean head of fair length, nice ears & eye, well slung between well boned front legs & good depth right through, powerful hindquarters, deep thighs & well bent stifle, pleasing on the move with fair drive, well presented in nice double coat. BB;

2 Orr’s Blackthorpe Betty On The Box.

OB (4)

1 Greenwood’s Petmon Miss Tiggywinkle, compact short coupled well balanced bitch, deep right through, excellent topline, very good front & shoulder. Could do with a bit more powerful hind action. Well presented in weather-resisting coat. RBB;

2 Hardy’s Trakside Springtime of Magandthan, very nice bitch but would not cooperate with her handler.
